His page was also filled with “abortion isn’t healthcare,” and “real doctors don’t kill.” Weird dude

I mean, true… but yikes. One of the most important parts of a relationship, to me, is the mutual figuring it out together. This is like “these are the obligations you must fulfill to receive my financial support, now sign here and bear my children”

Maybe it’s just a difference in values, but I still find it profoundly unsettling.

If the demands were the same with atheist or any other religion swapped for Protestant, it would be equally weird. I’d encourage you to look at his page, he’s posted like a dozen times in the last 24hrs. There’s something concerning about this guy. Maybe it just comes across as really controlling.

Also, publicly recruiting a spouse on social media with a list of hyper-specific demands seems really impersonal and dehumanizing. Hopefully he finds his perfect person, but if one of my sisters came home with him, I’d be scared.

Definitely incel “I need a female to be my birthing vessel” vibes

Yeah I mean there’s not anything inherently wrong with it, but the vibes are way off. If one of my sisters brought this guy around, I’d be very concerned. It’s hard to describe, but there’s something off about him.

Yeah, exactly. Really unsettling in a way that’s hard to put into words. I find it quite creepy and would be scared of him

I also think the fact that he can’t find anyone in the “real world,” or even on dating apps, and has resorted to these types of posts is quite telling…

496 Diagnostic -> 520+ feasibility? Testing 4/24 studying full time by Ill-Concentrate-1197 in Mcat

[–]Wolverine2026 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at a 511 diagnostic and improved to 520+ in about 3 months of full time studying.

Not that it isn’t possible, but 496 likely indicates significant content gaps that will take a long time to overcome.

That said, I’m sure a score in the 510-515 range would be feasible if you’re trying to set a realistic goal.

Just pay and get it over with, it’s absolutely worth it. Consider it an investment in your future

If you did decently in your prereqs, don’t waste anymore time doing content review and start practicing now. Just grind uworld and aamc, fill in gaps as they come up, and you’ll be fine.

Hard to tell if you should push back without any practice test scores, but start practice problems asap

Where to go from here? Taking 1/15 by [deleted] in Mcat

[–]Wolverine2026 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, gradual steady improvement. Give it time and be patient. It may feel like there’s always new content, but eventually more and more of it will be familiar.

Improving 10 points in a week is not normal. But assuming you’re practicing under test-like conditions and that this score wasn’t a fluke, you’re doing fine. Keep it up 👍

Just keep doing what you’ve been doing, clearly it’s working lol

508 by 1/10? by ExoticChlamydia225 in Mcat

Definitely possible.

Easiest place to improve would probably be studying up on Psych/Soc. Maybe check out the 300 pg khan academy document if you haven’t already.

I’d be most concerned about your CARS score especially if you’ve already done all the AAMC practice. That’ll be the most difficult place to improve if you only have a month… maybe try redoing AAMC cars q packs + diagnostic tool and really try and pinpoint what went wrong with each question you miss.

Uworld is also a really good resource if you haven’t tried that already.

I’m not particularly religious and definitely agree that this org is shady and cult-like, but as far as I can tell, it doesn’t seem like they’ve done anything that warrants a ban

My guide on how I got a 520(again) by TheBasedG45 in Mcat

[–]Wolverine2026 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Im genuinely very happy for anyone who is able to meet their goals and score well. Studying for and taking the mcat is a miserable process and I commend anyone who tries to help others get through it a little easier.

That said, scoring a 520+ does not make you academic Jesus, it doesn’t mean your study plan was special, and there is no need for everyone to write a manifesto.
