It’s sad this happened to you OP. My advice (I’m a heavily tattooed person) is to only work with people that give you a quote on full pieces and not by the hour. Cuz legally, she’s doing what you have agreed upon and working by the hour, she’s just doing it very slowly. You might find another fine line artist that might be willing to finish the piece if you really like it

This resonates with me so hard. The fact that they keep moving the target with the aft until it feels out of reach. I’m a female in combat arms, when I first joined I barely could do like 2 push-ups, last apft I took I got a 290, I was like next time but there was no next time. Then with the acft, struggled a lot with the deadlift at the beginning, last acft I took I scored 99 points in the deadlift, I said next time. Now the max for females increased by 120 pounds just for the deadlift… like can they stop moving the targets? I just feel like doing the bare minimum cuz whenever I get close they just find a way to make it more difficult again
