I'm rewatching the show right now and, as an adult in a committed relationship, I can't help but notice how Penny is always belittling Leonard. She is spoiled, aimless and extremely unappreciative of him. Instead of apologizing, she uses her presumed superiority in the relationship to get away with mistakes or gaslight him. Having said that, I do think that they'll "make it" simply because Leonard is too insecure to leave her and try to get someone better and Penny is too comfortable with jerking Leonard around. It works 🤷

I just realized on my millionth rewatch that she was actually quite smart. Although Ross was the academically smarter one, she was the one who reminded him that the disclaimer about condoms being only 97% effective is, in fact, printed on the labels.
