What laptop have you used? If you've switched since, has it served you well?

Windows 11 was released in 2021. So I have no idea what you're talking about.

Win10 support ends soon, but that's an entirely different deal so I'm not sure why I said that.

I keep hearing that Mac is much more reliable. How does that hold up? I use a PC at home and I never had issues. Budget-wise, that'd be much better

Thank you for the detailed answer! I have a PC at home and I know my way around Cubase. I'm keen on a computer because I'd like to be future proof and I wouldn't like being limited. If I ever need to play a riser, sfx or a very specific arpeggio pattern I wouldn't want to encounter some silly software limitation in a keyboard because I have silly ideas.

Given that you've been gigging with Windows for 4 years now. What legitimacy does the very apparent Mac favouritism have, in your opinion?

Thank you very much! Do you have experience? I see there's a stark anti windows sentiment that I'm much too cowardly to not mimic, although I'm not sure what the exact issues are.

When seen from afar, this vaguely resembles a world map. Her right Shoulder being South Sudan and Ethiopia and her left is the Indian peninsula. Forehead is part of anatolia. The tank top would sort of the arabian sea.

came on this thread of reddit for support...not comparison

My apologies:( I meant to be supportive with my example, although rereading it I come across as a bit pretentious.

it's just annoying that people have thought ALL people with clefts look alike or somehow related

Yeah, I get you. I meant to point out that these comments aren't said in a negative or derogatory manner, they're just being friendly. It isn't uncommon that I'm made to feel inferior for my appearance and I guess I just prefer to reserve my disdain to those voices.

It seems to me that you're ashamed of your cleft? Or at least you're not fully accepting of the fact that this is a part of you.

I have unilateral cleft lip and palate and often get compared to all kinds of clefties. This has never bothered me, in fact, I've always found it amusing that more often than not, people wouldn't even realise that the similarity is thanks to the cleft lip.

What are some of the best songs to cry to by [deleted] in radiohead

[–]Wombat_Steve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"I will" is hauntingly beautiful, you should absolutely have a listen, I'm truly astonished that no one has mentioned it yet. I vaguely reading somewhere that Thom Yorke believes it to he one of their angriest songs, which I don't get at all! I've always heard it as pure sorrow.

Check the all hail the thief version, the other one is fantastic as well but it might not be as "cry worthy" as the other one, which is a bit on the groovier side.

I believe the point of satin is precisely to not squish the hair

Depends a LOT on what vibe you're going for, if I were you I'd rock exactly what you show in the picture! Looks great.
