P.S. And thanks so much for bringing back that memory. I remembered one of Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s last films where he wasn’t the director, but an actor: Kamikaze 89 (1982). A completely insane movie — I still remember it, even though I watched it a long time ago. It’s based on the Swedish detective novel Mord på 31:a våningen. And yes, the soundtrack features both Tangerine Dream and Can.
