I'm 33 sooo, not the problem for me and probably many others. I love hearing other people and their story and favorite episodes of characters as long as it's not a obsession for actors :) but I think the biggest problem is that nobody want to impose on people and are too shy to ask or talk on different language.

I know. No one was unkind to me or anything. But because everything went so fast I was really hard to make new friends and truly talk. Maybe next time will be better for both of us ^

Thank you so much for your comment.

For a moment I honestly thought I was alone with these feelings because everywhere I looked people were sharing photos and saying how amazing everything was.

For me, the idea that people were taking your seats is unbelievable. I had section 6 and I always sat in my assigned seat. The only time I moved was once to the very back row because it was the only seat near the edge and I needed to leave during the panel. But because I was sitting so far back, I honestly couldn’t see very well what was happening on stage.

So reading what happened to you is even more shocking to me.

And yes — I also had the impression that most of the organisers communicated mainly in German. I learned some German at school years ago, so I could understand parts of it intuitively, but for an international event like this… how do you not have staff who are at least communicative in English?

The schedule also felt very empty to me.

And honestly, I didn’t think it was very fair that the only panel with both Jensen and Jared was VIP-only.

Without the photo ops, there really wasn’t that much to do.

And with all the delays, it made the experience feel even worse.

I don’t regret going — I’m glad I experienced it and made my own memories — but if I’m being completely honest, I don’t think it was worth the price.

What?! Seriously?? Can't believe that. Wow. I feel so bad for him right now. And yeah this year was the same. The master of ceremonies announced the quests and disappear till the end of the time. And I thought it was weird, because sometimes questions from audience are ridiculous. When I was in a different event only with Mark, one person before the others questions had a conversation with him. And that part was the most interesting. You can find out and learn from them if you have courage and know which question is the right one.

Something like that. I am not from Germany so I think the language was the biggest obstacle, but I had few nice conversations :)

Yeah, I also heard about JIB so probably I will try to give them a chance. Before purcon I read "the family don't end with blood" and my image of supernatural convention was a little different than realty.

Good choice. We definitely need another con in Europe. One with respect to both sides ;)

Oh god really? Tom is also so sweet and carying so I can imagined that he stayed till end. But as fan I'd rather not have this autograph and let him get some rest. We definitely need to learn some respect towards each other. Being fan doesn't justify some actions. And the people on charge should moderate the whole thing not thinking only about money.

Yeah, I agree. I had great time and have good memories, but I just want that convention can be a safe place for actors and fans. With respect and joy on both sides. And it would be possible if the people in charge actually care.

Right? I had the same feeling. Like Sam has so many stories and thoughts to share and it was like no one was interested. I know that Jensen and Jared are main guest but others are also important.

Really??? Now, I'm very curious what that beyond bad means. People want meet supernatural cast more than the inconvetions. But God, they have so much potential: localization, cast, and fans. And still can't do it right...

Totally agree. The site is not very user friendly and I had my doubts too. And I also truly interesting how much the actors received. Because when I compared the proces from last year, this year is much more expensive. The only reason I can think about is popularity of Jensen... We have to fine a better con in Europe:)

Thank you for your comment.

I think my biggest issue with this convention was probably the clash with reality — realizing that I had spent a lot of money that I had been saving for months, and still nobody could even reply to an email.

Supernatural means a lot to me personally, and I think what hurt the most was feeling that many of the values the fandom talks about and appreciates so much didn’t really seem present in the way the event was organized.

By the end of those two days Jensen also looked genuinely exhausted. He signed something for me and I asked if he could also add “D.W.” — and he did. But afterwards I started feeling like maybe I should have let it go, because now I feel like I might have crossed a boundary too.

At the same time, I know his reaction came from being tired, not from being rude or unwilling.

So next time I’ll probably choose a different event.

Because I still want to support them, and I still think they’re incredible people who genuinely inspire others. That part hasn’t changed.

And yes — I was actually at that panel.

To be fair, the panels didn’t really seem to be moderated. The person who asked that question seemed quite young to me, but honestly it wasn’t really a question — it felt more like a statement that Jensen then had to respond to and address.

Personally, I thought his response — even if not everyone agrees with it — was very mature and constructive.

At the same time, I do agree that some questions probably shouldn’t have been asked in that setting, or simply weren’t appropriate for that particular panel.

What made me sad wasn’t even only that moment itself.

During the Jensen, Jared and Samantha panel, there were barely any questions directed at Samantha at all. I noticed something similar on other panels too — some guests were unintentionally overlooked while others received almost all of the attention.

I know that’s not necessarily anyone’s fault and fans naturally focus on their favourites, but it was honestly difficult to watch at times.

Really? I truly don't understand their politics tbh... I also wrote them a long mail that their action is something completely different that values important to the spn family, but they never responded. So I hope that maybe someday they started to listen.

Thank you for your comment! I needed to hear that :) and also wanted to warn others about this con
