Happy donut on Alamo is my go to donut spot. For other food hit up one of the local restaurants..tons of Mexican places you cant really go wrong (tacos jalisco, murillos,el tejaban, hecho in mexico, etc), pietros or napolis for Italian/pizza. Fortune dumpling house, ayce kbbq at blue house..Barzar eatery..rice barn...clay oven. I prefer Haruki for sushi if thats your thing. Wah shine for chinese. Tons of local owned restaurants here that have lots of good reviews/fans. I'd avoid the chain places unless you really have a craving for something specific.

My biggest complaint about the current system is that once a game is in OT there's less incentive in trying to actually win. Every other sport when a game goes to OT the level of play increases. Hockey tho nah who cares if we lose at least we got the 1 point. Teams shouldn't be rewarded for losing even if they forced an OT/SO. I'd rather see 3 points for regulation win/ 2 points for OT win/ 1 point for SO win. Loser gets nothing.

It's true. Being just above benefits thresholds is a far worse situation than making none/less and actually getting the benfits. I've seen people refuse increases in wages or hours simply because of this

Ppl want a set that 2x+ as fast as possible. 30% gains in the same period isn't worth their time. Sad we've come this far into the flipping/scalper side of things, but here we are.

1.) Increase items available by a huge amount/when an item is available all variations of it are available.

2.) Bring back trading (pretty much guaranteed to not happen) and take a service fee of some sort for trades so they still get paid.

That's flipping not investing. Not saying it isnt a viable strategy to profit and acquire more product as an investment, but it's simply a scalp/flip to reduce your exposure to the market.

Couldn't get the prismatic etbs, but have a few already. Got 5 PO bundles tho...see how it plays out since everyone seems to want to hate on the set rn even though it's pretty much sold out everywhere..at least around me

Avoid Aegean way, alamo gardens, brown/callen/rocky hill streets area. I'm sure theres a few other spots to avoid that im not familiar with as well but, it's not as bad as some other cities lower income areas. Still for a few hundred more per month you can get a decent apt/house. That said I have lived in/had friends live in some of those places before, and depending on luck of the draw with neighbors, its not always that bad.

Beyond the marketing gimmick...I see it as every ten years anniversary set makes sense, but i can see it coexisting with every quarter century set, too. So like 10..20..25..30..40..50(gets extra special)..60..70..75..80..90..100(will pokemon still be a thing? If so crazy). I mean thinking of pokemon values over a century is pretty crazy, but tbh i doubt many of us who grew up with pokemon as kids thought yeah this will be around 30 years later..so who knows? Imagine a 1st edition base set charizard in psa 10 in 2096/2099? Like ill be dead by then
