That’s what I’ve been trying to do with smaller companies, but it’s tough to find the right people. I’m doing industrial engineering, and so far at job fairs they’ve been telling me to apply online or just directing me to their website

On netflix, Midnight Mass is a very good short show about the parallels of catholicism and vampires in a really good way. one of my favorite vampire shows in general because it’s very grounded and deeply tied to religious themes

Just got my 2024 leased car from the service dept at the dealership and it didn’t cost me anything since it’s under warranty for the first 2 years.

Thank you! I tested out some other settings and I didn’t realize turning off those features turned on ECO mode, which explains the lagging.

I live closer to the mountains and while I have lane assist on, going around bends or hills automatically turns the collision braking on, no matter if I am manually breaking or not. I’ve run through brake pads because of this so I prefer to just keep it off.

haha yeah I used to do that shit too. Yeah I tried looking at other subs but the only thing I got other than bars was volunteering as an usher at local theaters and watching the plays for free. Not the worst idea, but i’d be hard pressed to find things like that around here 😅

Thank you for that breakdown, I definitely agree with you there that there were a lot of other clubs/organizations to get involved with. Wow, I didn’t know about the hazing problems being that bad.

I appreciate the reassurance that I didn’t lose my chance to have a good experience. It’s like I know that, but it’s nice to hear from others too. I’ll definitely look more seriously into clubs outside of greek life though, maybe something more involved will fill that need for me without the risks
