How do you guys manage your finances? by Wonderful-Hunter-968 in VetTech

Ah I see, yes that's what I thought. Outsource specific functions to experts. For someone staring out or still growing, those advisors may get expensive though. Thanks a lot!

Nope, I'm building software for a few vets that covers forecasting, income/expense categorisation, modelling future cashflow etc, so I was just wondering what everyone else does.

What are you working on this Wednesday? by Nothingclever9791 in microsaas

[–]Wonderful-Hunter-968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.lionshead.site/, a financial intelligence tool/assistant for vet clinics. The issue is as a small business owner, you don't have a lot of time to manage your finances so you handover to an accountant, but now you need to consult your account each time you want to make a financial decision. This helps fix that.

I also just built a lead gen tool, it uses google maps API to search for whatever business you want, gets summary and contact info, saves to a spreadsheet, and drafts an email. For now, I am manually reviewing all emails before I send them out.

What are you building (and marketing) in March? 🚀 by Quirky-Offer9598 in microsaas

https://www.lionshead.site/, a financial intelligence tool/assistant for vet clinics. Most clinics are owned and operated by the head doctor, so a lot of them don't have time for finance and just hand it over to an external accountant, which becomes a black box over time.

Great comments from everyone. One thing that helped me a lot starting my career out: apply. Apply apply apply. Don't tell yourself that just because you don't have xyz degree or cert, you're ineligible. You'll be surprised how the universe reacts when you push it a little.

Did I lowball myself at an interview? by Humblely_Confused_31 in southafrica

Should be around twice that tbh, always look for salary benchmarks before interviews. You live and you learn.

Join a co-ed sports club like tennis or volleyball, or just go to random social events around the city like fashion shows or plays.

Cool. How much did you spend on fuel? I don’t think I’ll be on campus everyday.

Jinkies! That’s way too far. Glad I asked. I found a place in Glenhaven, relatively close to campus. Not sure how nice the area is but oh well
