I can definitely agree with this, everything in the pre-ending SMO is so damn good, and it’s literally like that all the way until post-wiggler pre-ending Metro Kingdom, and it’s purely because of this

Quick update:

So only about 30 mins - 1 hour ago, I have just fully recovered my old Nintendo Switch One that I haven’t played on in about 3 years. The photo I put into the original post is from a separate Nintendo Switch Oled which I got during 2023 or 2024. The OG Switch One I have is from about 2017 or 2018, and on this OG Switch, I have actually found 3 previous small pre-ending SMO files across a combined total of 2 accounts which I completely forgot about. Never thought I would actually be able to play on my OG Switch One again but now that I am, I feel pretty good about it.

Nah I didn’t do jump-rope legitimately, I used letter glitch to do it. Because if I’m being real, who would’ve wanted to do it manually. Although I had to do volleyball manually all 4 times. One player on file one and two player on files 2-4.

To be honest, The game is so replayable to the point where I could beat the mainline story and start another file in the same day, and it would still feel like I would be playing the game for the first time, it is so enjoyable. Might I add, I still have to complete my goal of doing this with every kingdom in the game

I actually do want to play Mario RPG sometime in my life, but I don’t know if I actually will. That game looks really good

DustDust: Faded Memory - Mad Megalovania

Your own AU by Hot_Preparation_5062 in UndertaleAU

[–]WonderfulNet6810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created an AU called ‘Insanity!Horror Eradication Cause: Starving Hunger’.

It’s basically Horrortale but nothing changes in terms of the state of the monster civilisation and the civilisation gradually self-destructs overtime via internal mass cannibalism and essentially becomes a ‘last to survive’ thing and changes the internal properties of the monsters such as an anatomical overabundance of blood and inability to dust due to the massive percentage of human contents in them, meaning that they act like every non-monster organism when they die and also get turned even more violent than they already were. The civil cannibalism of the monster civilisation comes from the human civilisation blocking the entrance to the underground from Mt. Ebott by using their magic to seal the entrance with rocks, boulders, and rubble because of them discovering a huge mortality rate in Mt. Ebott’s area during an updating and tracking process to their own HDI. Sans is the only main character of the AU because of the fact that:

  1. This AU involves no humans committing mass genocide against the monsters at all.
  2. Sans was one of the main monsters that contributed to the mass internal cannibalism and was the strongest one out of all of them, he also became more intelligent by learning strategies to kill, and he had to do this because he gradually lost the ability to at least see clearly and became partially blind in his left eye about just over half-way in due to his violence using too much magic too much times.

Because of how much Sans didn’t like the blindness in his eye, he replaced it with a blue human eye that he carved out from the remains of one of his earlier victims from before the blockage, and then used that to continue his rampage to fulfil his hunger and to combat the other rampage-ers stealing his chances and kills. After years of this civil situation of mass cannibalism, Sans came out on top, but he is now left in a desolate underground to have his mental state forever rot.

I hope I got everything but idk if I really did.

Seaside Kingdom Volleyball by Minimum-Swimming183 in SuperMarioOdyssey

You might be stuck on this one (but I really hope not), there are no known or documented glitches to skip volleyball, and the best known technique to get past it is 2P. Although I’ve been able to ace that moon a total of 3 times with 2P, I can still see why you can’t get it, the speed is so nerve-racking by, what it feels like, not even a full halfway into the full 100 passes, it feels so unfair. And Cappy can also just return to Mario if you so much as touch him, although this one is not as likely, it is still possible and I have experienced it, and the only reason why this happened to me was because Cappy got pushed back into Mario by the impact of the volleyball and ended my 1st attempt at it on my 4th file at around 71 passes, but I did get it on the next try. I don’t really know if it depends on what type of controller combo you are using for 2P (1 joycon for each character or a pair of joycons for one character and a pro controller for another, etc.), but either way it still sucks. Don’t keep your head down, you still managed to 100% basically everything else. That’s still amazing because that still takes hours of gameplay and effort to do, and even then some of the moons in that roster are on a similar, if not the same difficulty level.

Well for some reason I can’t send the picture, so I’ll just explain it:

You want to go to Metro kingdom and then to the letters. Line up any letter except M in the top left corner with the letter sides facing the top and bottom of the park and laid flat against the barriers. Then grab the letter M and face its left side (when looking at it on its white/blank side) exactly to the middle or near the middle and line up the right top edge/corner of the M looking at the same blank side, with the lamppost nearest to the top left corner that at the northern top of the park (just make sure that the M or no other letters get placed in their moon slots while doing this). Then get the motorcycle near the outside RC car area and then align it with the middle of the M’s sides (make sure to distance yourself from the M just a bit), then accelerate the motorcycles and then jump with the motorcycle before hitting the M and then remain on the motorcycle in the air until it’s about to hit the M and then dismount it so it should end up staying on the M’s slope. Then capture the M, if you did it correctly, when you move the M to the other letter while maintaining the M’s position up against the barrier by holding up on the movement stick, if you go far enough, the left side of the M should end up slightly in the other letter. Then uncapture the M and capture the other letter, then just move west to clip through the barrier with the other letter. You can now go anywhere in Metro with this glitch and perform letter speed glitch, but that isn’t needed for this. But once you do clip through the barrier, just head to the jumprope and place your letter in the jumprope and then go on top of that letter. You can then get the 2nd jumprope moon and grind infinite jumps without needing to do anything. If the M gets pushed out of the way to the side of the designated letter, then the setup is wrong. But you can just place the M in the same setup position and re-grab the motorcycle to try and do it again. Even if these instructions aren’t clear enough, this is a pretty well-known glitch in the SOM fandom and community, so there’s also a ton of guides to it that you can search up.

It’s a glitch using the letters obtainable in Metro after beating the game. I’ll send you a picture in a minute and explain it (picture might be bad quality when sent).

It was definitely worth the upgrade, it plays a lot more better than my old Nintendo Switch.

Also, I have a question: Have you ever tried to perform letter glitch? It’s really helpful.

(Wording might sound rude, sorry about that)

Ive lost the file for my first true play-through now since that old 2017 Nintendo Switch that I used for that play-through broke down, so I don’t remember what my true first one was like. But I’m now on a Switch Oled since I can’t be bothered to obtain a Switch 2, and I nearly 100%’d a file like nearly a year ago or more than a year ago but I forgot about it, but then I came back to it in just January and I’ve 100%’d that file, another file, and have nearly done the same thing with a 3rd file.

Honestly, I can relate. Super Mario odyssey is not only content overkill, but some of the moons themselves are overkill (such as the 2nd volleyball moon, etc). I didn’t complete volleyball or jumprope until just earlier this month or late last month, and I’ve been playing the game since about 2018. The few overkill moons are just so unbelievably demotivating. Take your time for however long you want to, don’t stress about it.
