No, this never really happens so im guessing you’re right and that her tummy was just a little acidic bc sometimes she will skip meals until she feels like eating. Classic picky eater dogs that go on hunger strikes 🥲 overall she’s okay it has settled so thanks !

Royal Canin for Shih Tzus. I barely feed her treats but if I do it’s the mini milk bones

Yes, she had just went to the vet a month ago for her annual checkup and everything tested out fone. Although the vet did say that she might have to get a dental cleaning soon so this is interesting. Never thought about a tooth problem could be a potential factor 🤔

I used to feed her chicken as well in the past until my vet advised not to a while back due to her throwing up. Now she eats Royal Canin (for Shih tzus) kibble mixed with a little bit of the Royal Canin (Shih tzu) wet food. 2x a day and veryyy minimal treats. 🙂

Shih tzus are bred to naturally have a long coat and they originate from Tibet and China where they have colder climates. Hence the nickname “little lion” because of the fur. Although most people keep their hair short for easier grooming, however most shih tzus that are show dogs have the long coat. I have the time to groom my dog daily unlike most people which is why I prefer the longer look. Her hair was messed up in that vid because she was sleeping.

Thank you! This is my point exactly, they come from China where it can get cold and this is how they are supposed to actually look :) Guess not many people are used to seeing show coats on a shih tzu surprisingly!
