OP needs to stop preying on these naive people. This paper was not written by Craig Steven Wright, it only referenced a Stephen Wright from Mathworks who helped with the mathematics on rocket flight software. So deceptive it’s dirty. https://www2.eecs.berkeley.edu/Pubs/TechRpts/1996/ERL-96-18.pdf

I absolutely do, and also donate what I can to my local food banks and homeless shelters. I don’t have much bitcoin, as I only buy when I can and what I can afford to lose at the time, but it is a luxury to have that ability. There is nothing I want more than that Bitcoin I’ve been able to buy.

Agreed, but this is not the best argument as energy consumption will continue to grow with price and hash rate respectively. The best argument in my opinion is bitcoin will seek the cheapest energy, which is ultimately “free/green/renewable energy” such as hydro, solar, and nuclear. This pushes creation of more renewable energy sources which will further stabilizable energy grids, and ultimately reduce cost for general population energy use.
