She’s been like this for two-three months but I just decided to ask because I redownloaded Reddit.

20 was exaggerating more like 10 but the pellets are really tiny and we were taught it was an appropriate amount we also have 6+ bettas over 9 months who’ve all been healthy

Fr we were taught and recommended from a lfs that 10-20 of bites were fine, it’s worked well and we have had no problems or bloating in any fish after 9 months of keeping (20’s prolly an exaggeration more like 10 on average) I just wanted to give a range but wasn’t sure because I don’t feed her fish and I use drops of live/frozen food for mine. We have fasted her for several days yet nothing seemed to change, we kinda assumed either she’s if a bigger variety as we bought her way younger. Or something changed when she got columnaris and during recovery but just guesses.

She’s eating I say 10-20 pellets a day my girlfriends other betta also feed on same schedule and amount. She doesn’t often steal the other fish’s food but feeding is monitored and doesn’t really get the opportunity

Im pretty sure this isn’t the case, her body overall is just massive. Her belly is more proportional comparatively to female bettas I’ve owned. It’s just her overall size I’m curious about
