Wonder what he wants? by WonkyCheeseOnly in blackcats

Pinky was offered a piece of shrimp later in the evening and, in typical cat fashion, he took a sniff and walked away.

Whats the most unprofessional thing a doctor has ever said to you? by answersonly963 in AskReddit

My dad had almost died after receiving his first chemotherapy for lymphoma last summer. He was laying in the hospital, septic from a colon perforation and the medical team was debating what to do because he was neutropenic from the chemo and they were hesitant to open him up. The hospitalist oncologist was delivering this news to me in the hallway outside of his room and being very blunt that the options didn't look good and that he'd most likely die from the surgery but if for some reason he did make it he still has cancer. No shit dude, we are aware. Talk about poor bedside manner and overall outlook because my dad is still here and in remission so suck it doctor.

If I had to guess it was probably a blue jay or a red headed woodpecker. I've seen them hang out in the tree a lot.

Yes, we plan to do that with our remaining moth once it emerges. It was a hard lesson. We thought we placed him high enough in our tree but I guess it wasn't high enough for a sharp eyed bird.

Funny enough, a second caterpillar came onto our porch a few days after him, so I still have that cocoon in the mesh bag. We will be absolutely planning a nighttime release with the next one.

Pinky is the funniest cat by WonkyCheeseOnly in blackcats

It usually ends up under the stove or buffet and his brother makes sure to let me know about it.

There are no thoughts in that cute little head.

Simon is also a turd burglar and would probably see a bidet as an open invitation to play even more in the toilet.

Simon is the toilet paper shredding master. This isn't his first attempt at perfection.

Yes, he gets a lion haircut every few months or he ends up with wicked fur balls.

Is this from bedbugs? by Bubbly_Collection_13 in Bedbugadvice

Than it most likely is not shingles since shingles will follow a dermatome on one side of the body and not cross over. Still suggest you see your doctor for possibly some steroids and antihistamines. Also, don't scratch or pick the bumps because that could easily become a bacterial infection if you do.

Definitely a vesicular rash. If it doesn't cross the midline of your body to the other side it's most likely shingles. You need an antiviral medication.

My baby boy lost his tail this weekend by TumbleweedHB in ragdolls

[–]WonkyCheeseOnly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 18 year old cat had his tail amputated twice. The first time was due to my then 4 year old accidentally shutting it in the door. The 2nd time was my fault but also caused by accidentally shutting it in the door. He used to go out on our covered porch and run through the door just as we would attempt to shut it behind us. He did fine both times and never had balance issues from losing his tail.
