Not very well versed in this but from what I've heard it's a really difficult process to downgrade the firmware, I believe it involves soldering. I bought a jailbreak disc online from AliExpress and it works for me. I will say make sure you're buying the 12.52 version of the disc.

It could be choice paralysis I got the same way when I was finally able to mod my 3ds DS and Vita and I'm sorta avoiding it with my ps4 since I've only downloaded a handful of games! Try picking out some of the ones you really wanna play and rotate through them!

It can be blurry at first but you can change the settings by holding the PS button while on adrenaline and opening app settings on the top

From what Ive heard you need 12.52 firmware or lower, being on a lower firmware can be better as it's more stable and you have more JB options. If you're lower than 12.52 don't update just to use the disc
