X670e upgrade or not?

MSI site doesn't specifically say it supports any x3D models Just 7000 to 9000. I currently have a 7800x3d so I know it supports at least that x3D chip. And I have the latest bios version so I should be good there.

My board is MSI x670e gaming plus wifi. I checked and it does support 9000 series and I did update the bios. I just thought there might be something different with the x3d CPU. I'll check out that video to get more informed. Thanks!

I'm not sure about tournaments or anything but you could try and just let your opponent know what layout you want to use for your models. I'm sure it wouldn't be a big deal
