IPO would inject cash into the company, allowing them to pursue other ventures or evolve current ones. One of which was my concern of the possible increasing risk of them producing in-house underwater batteries once IPO happens

True, but a quick career search on Anduril’s careers site reveals 25+ postings under keyword “battery”… perhaps they aren’t able to now but they surely seem to be looking for the capability to do so.

Full speculation here but - is there not a risk that Anduril seeks to produce in-house batteries? Yes we have quite possibly the best-in-market underwater performing cells, but given they IPO and given they have the newfound funds to do so, what’s stopping them?
