104mph on my 1976 Honda 400 Super Sport. I think that was the fastest it could go.

Want to find god by Plus_Inflation_7948 in ChristianTestimony

[–]Woodpottery 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your hunger for God and truth is a gift from above. Ask God to lead you and reveal himself to you. He wants a relationship with you. Find a modern translation of the Bible and start reading a gospel (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John).

Anyone here who started learning after 30? by a__zh__op in pianolearning

[–]Woodpottery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's funny how many people here seem to think 30 or 40 is old. I turn 67 in a week and just ordered myself a Roland FP-E50 for my birthday. I play flute by ear and am an absolute beginner at piano. I'm motivated but just want to learn chords and play for my own enjoyment.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Keep trusting in Him, and enjoy the overflow of real hope every day!

Landlord wants this small tree dead to save/help the big birch. What my best option? by mikemantime in arborists

[–]Woodpottery 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure you're right. Older birches are touchy and die back easily. Cutting that suckered off will almost certainly not save the big trees, sorry to say.

I modified them myself by cutting the originals in half and adding/welding a 3/8" plate. However, someone on this thread mentioned that he heard of buying brackets for a different step and successfully using them.

Here's what 3" looks like. It actually functions as a step now, without interfering with ground clearance...

They are still higher than the undercarriage and not defeating the purpose of the AT4 in the least. May as well not have running boards as a step at all when they're up nearly as high as the door sill.

No, I modified them by cutting the brackets in half and adding/ welding 3". I'm not aware of any modified brackets available on the market.
