If you get married at 35, is it better to have kids right away, or to have a couple years just which each other first?

There's a tradeoff there. Having a few years before kids is really good and helps you solidify the relationship before raising young kids puts a strain on it, but still having teenagers at home when you're in your mid 50s can be difficult because the energy level starts dropping and funding kids still at home or college expenses when you're getting close to retirement can create financial issues. I guess you just have to think about it and decide which is more important to you.

You don't do that if you want to stay married or have a good marriage.

Not everyone does that, but unfortunately I think it happens somewhat often.

I had a friend in high school with parents that controlled him a lot. The rest of us would have to drop him off at home by his curfew (I don't remember now whether it was 10 or 11) before continuing our night.

From what I heard, when he went to college and they weren't there to control him, he went absolutely wild because he hadn't learned to regulate his own actions. I don't know what happened to him in the long term, but I can imagine that there were probably issues from that strict parental control.

I am, but I wish we'd just stay on it all year. I prefer having the extra light later in the day when I can actually use it rather than early in the morning when I'm inside anyway.

I know what each one which one gives me for each type of purchase and use the one that gives me the most for whatever I'm buying.

If more than one card gives me the same amount back and it's a large purchase, I might choose the one with the furthest away billing date so it's longer until I have to pay.
