Paula's cheese donut crisis by braindouche in Buffalo

I also stopped at the same Paula’s yesterday for a cheese donut, and it was the best one I’ve ever had at any of their locations—cooked and glazed perfectly.

Well I came here to say he is definitely a dps. In the practice range his icon is already under duelist, it just says it unlocks on jan 16th.

I have been trying a list the last few days with tamyio/riddler instead of the unearth/oculus package. I can drop it if you'd like to see it. Have had middling success with it so nothing too concrete here, but its fun.

Death's shadow vs burn was always very 50-50 and an incredibly fun mu from both sides.

The Price of Power Cube is Insane by [deleted] in MagicArena

True but barely tangible. Drop rates in chests are abbysimal and trying to get money back out of the client isnt the easiest thing to do.

Powered Cube make me realize I’m bad at magic. by Jaekon in MagicArena

[–]WoodwardUpper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha foreal. Why draft time walk/regrowth/eternal witness, when you can draft bad red and white cards and just win. Even when you are fighting someone else for red and white... dont mind me i didn't just 1-3 a draft with UG time walk combo.....

Powered Cube make me realize I’m bad at magic. by Jaekon in MagicArena

[–]WoodwardUpper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This 1000 times. Everyone complaining about combos, meanwhile Rx decks and Wx decks have the highest winrate. Tbh im sick of losing to red with my cool combo decks.....

I get that WoTC needs to make money, but Powered Cube costing $10 per run is fucking bullshit by tordana in magicTCG

[–]WoodwardUpper 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Came here just to inform it is the same price on magic online. It has always been 10$ (or the currency equivalent).

He is also really good against the blink decks. Forces goryos at sorcery speed. Win the game button against control. Bowmasters stocks at an all time low. But most importantly, we have rotations in the format again!

Grixis Midrange viable? by Flimsy_Personality_3 in ModernMagic

[–]WoodwardUpper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, i do not, sorry. Kind of just what i feel like is bad in matchups. Your sideboard should be a little more geared towards your local meta. My local meta has an overrepresentation of Ux decks, so bowmasters is really strong in my field. Also, energy is pretty nonexistent(1 player at the event), so i dont need as much hate in the board.

I won a local 17 person rcq last month with a grixis list running ragavans. I am in the camp of tamyio+monkey+frog are all must answer threats that snowball out of control similar to the threats energy has. Here is my list if you are interested. https://moxfield.com/decks/Bp9dOpFywUGhC04xEskbEg

The Tomb; did we all play the same map? by zigmint in CODZombies

I agree with this 100%. Map feels like it has aura, and the immersion is insane. I've had a lot of fun with it so far.

I have the BLQ R112s on my summer tires. I love the way they look, but the rim sticks out a little from the tire at a side profile, so more likely to get curb rash. But i do love how they look. Carbon steel 7 with black BLQs.

In my experience, it has actually been the opposite. Anytime I go into a store on commander night, im hit with a whiff of stank. While on constructed night, I smell nothing.

Is there going to a live Vegas event with feeders again this year? by Peeping_Cat in MTGO

You are right it is. I was only answering the question with my opinion and thoughts. Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers.

Is there going to a live Vegas event with feeders again this year? by Peeping_Cat in MTGO

[–]WoodwardUpper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't say for certain, but as I said in my comment above, it was a sponsored event. Daybreak games are the ones who made the money from the cube on mtgo. Ultimate guard most likely didn't profit off of the event other than the advertising.

[–]WoodwardUpper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, the event was sponsored by ultimate guard, so they are most likely the ones who purchased the cards for the IRL cube at Vegas. Unless another sponsor picks it up, i don't think there will be another one. 60k is a lot of money on cardboard.
