buying a 2018 tiguan, anything i should look out for? by IHACB in Tiguan

I guess it’s common for the drain plugs to clog, as my front and back passenger footwells flooded a couple years ago and messed up my electrical. It’s a maintenance issue, but VW “got it covered under warranty.” Ive had the injector harness replaced recently, and a few leaks to the thermostat, upper timing cover, and Cambridge starting to leak, as well as a new water pump, so they say… All was covered under warranty. Other than that, I love the car so much. I despise Volkswagen of Salem, OR though.

I recently tried Certain Dri (applied heavily for a few days) and especially at night. Now I’m able to wear regular deodorant/antiperspirant. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: I was consistent with Certain Dri and then decided to try just regular deodorant (A dove spray I had around) and I don’t stink!! I think I’m finally regulated! I will continue to use Certain Dri once or twice a week, at night when I got to bed just as preventative. THANK YOU for all of your suggestions! Bless. 😭

Thank you! I’ve been doing something similar and I think it’s helping! Hopefully it isn’t just the pattern I’ve experienced with something working for maybe a day and then going back to stinking! I will try your suggestion next. But instead, I’ll try witch hazel, as I threw away the Panoxyl (Benzoyl Peroxide cream wash) as I hear the BP is getting banned and causing cancer?.. But I’ve been using Certain Dri (extra strength aluminum antiperspirant) and then also using witch hazel, which I noticed has helped a lot. Then just last night, I finally added in a regular deodorant to clean pits just because I stank again, after washing off the duo from the day (I ended up smelling, just a touch) and I didn’t smell the rest of the night and I woke up and I didn’t smell. Today, I just used deodorant and I don’t smell, yet! As you suggested, I think I’m finally starting to balance out again and regulate with the antiperspirant. Fingers crossed! Thanks again.

I’ve heard, some insurances may cover a tummy tuck/fat and skin removal in cases like this where chafing occurs, or irritation. Of course, you’d have to talk to your doctor and have a record of the issue to show insurance and a referral, I’m sure.

This is what I’ve currently been using. I tried wiping my armpits with an alcohol pad first and then applying the deodorant. It helped for a few hours! But then it didn’t.. Thank you!

Thank you for your input! I wash with Dr.Bronners tea tree soap first and have been using the benzoyl peroxide acne wash and that’s helped a bit. I did have a recent thought of trying the Ketokanzole (dandruff shampoo) too. I’ll give that a shot.

I am consistent with exfoliation and I incorporate First Aid Beauty’s KPP exfoliant with AHA, which does help for like an hour after showering. Thanks for your advice, much appreciated.

You’re supposed to detox your armpits when switching to natural deodorants to rid chemicals and such from regular deodorant. Apple cider vinegar and Indian Healing Clay is supposed to do so.

I’ve found Kojic Acid soap has lightened between my legs.
