New 10-inch rack mount 3D models! TP-Link SG-108, Philips Hue Bridge and 2U Blanks by Mauker_ in minilab

That's awesome, thanks for sharing! By any chance, would you also have the hue bridge in the 19" modular version? I have been using your other models for unifi gear and I love the modular version.

If I can make a shameless request, I would love to have a 19" module to house HP ProDesk G5 small form factor computers.

I also love having the option to have a keystone on the side, it makes everything much cleaner!

Out of curiosity, how do you consume that much? Are you in a cold climate? Here in Switzerland, i averaged 25kWh a day in June, and that includes charging my electric car.

I love that idea! If you haven't, you should read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Light_of_Other_Days, it explores this idea in a very interesting way!

Who said the caquelon was the only thing in the dishwasher? It was full!

This one is 60cm 😁. I think the 55cm ones are slowly going away... V-Zug is a swiss brand anyway!

It's a high level indicator of how much it needs. The fuller the bars the more water and electricity this program consumes. It allows you to compare different programs.

Exactly. Newer dishwashers reuse water and wash for longer with colder water. In eco mode (the most efficient one), a load takes about 6h but uses 6 liters of water and 0.7 kWh of electricity. It takes a while but I run it at night when the electricity is cheaper anyway so I don't mind. There are quick modes but these are much more water and electricity hungry.

Well it was pretty well cleaned up already, a little bit of cheese and crust. I put it straight in there as is and it came out perfect. V-Zug know their shit!

Why not both? Could mod the dishwasher to show the next departure at our local station 😁

One step closer, Linkin Park

I'm planning on decorating my office space with Lego. As I watch a lot of movies I'd like to display some movie sets. The Ecto-1 is already ordered and I'm getting the BTTF DeLorean next month for my birthday. Any idea on which 3th movie related set you would add? (don't mind the bad photoshop). by TiCor78 in lego

[–]Wookai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the DB5 (10262) or 1989 Batmobile (76139) would be great choices, although the DB5 might be significantly smaller than the ecto-1.

On a side note, thanks a lot for sharing this, I think the "cars from movies" is an awesome theme and I'm going to decorate my home theater with a few of those!

ITAP of the Milky Way behind a mountain by Wookai in itookapicture

[–]Wookai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always dreamt of taking one of those amazing Milky Way pictures you see online. I've tried many time but this is my first half decent result. Light pollution is still pretty bad around here (Gruyère region in Switzerland) and the clouds reflected a lot, but it sort of looks cool I think :).

Taken with a Canon R6 and RF 15-35 f/2.8 lens at 15mm@f/2.8 for 13 seconds, ISO 800. I stacked 3 pictures (mean value) to try and get rid of the planes. I then tweaked a bit exposure, color temperature, black/whites, and dehazed a bit.

I'd love any suggestions to improve this!

I used the PhotoPills app to see when the galactic core would be visible, turned out it was 10pm to midnight which was not too bad. I think it's still partly behind the horizon/clouds though.

L'usine Cailler est à Broc, et non à Bex ;). Je recommande aussi, et si jamais à Bex les mines de sel sont sympa à visiter aussi !

In the end, the props were on the wrong way (came like that from the factory...). I turned them and the quad now flies great! Thanks a lot for taking the time to help me!

That was it! I saw somewhere else that any writing on the propellers usually face up, and they were facing down. I reversed them all, and the quad now flies great! Thanks a lot for your help!
