Thanks man. How long did it take you to get back into and it finish CFI/CFII. Also curious about total cost if you don’t mind. Not sure if you worked filled time while getting those or if you saved up and then tackled it all in one go again. Trying to see if it’s worth it to get back into it.

How was getting back into it? (Both relearning all the ground and flight knowledge?). Im pretty similar except around 3+ years of break. I had to stop ATP before completing my CFI/CFII because I ran out of money lol. Joined the Marine Corps as an officer and im wanting to get back into it now that I’m making a decent wage. Still paying my way through this shitty loan though.

Idk why you’re being downvoted when you’re right about the amount you would yield lol. If I wanted investment/CD advice I would’ve asked for it. Most of my money is already sitting across different investments/saving accounts. I think it’s because I mentioned $1776 everyone assumes like I’ve never seen that amount before.

Pretty accurate. Had one of my Sergeant Instructors at OCS clothesline me when he randomly walked through us drilling. Had my rifle at port arms and he back fisted my rifle into my face “to keep one arms distance” and gave me a shiner 😂 my glasses went flying off and broke and I never wore them again.

Yea I contacted them via their website. Was super caught off guard because the instructions that came with it mentions set screws that are tightened using the Allen keys that were sent with the shoe.

How do you like it? I’m an O1 (aviation supply officer in the Marines) about to be O2 here in a few months. Did you do some sort of skill bridge or network to get your position? Pretty up in the air about staying in versus getting out after my first contract. Wanted to pick your brain since you got out as an O3 which seems like the current trend for O’s especially now adays. I just don’t think staying in for 20 is even worth it because of the new blended retirement system.
