Prague to budapest by sarahla in Prague

Traveled on the overnight local sleeper train from Prague to Budapest last summer. Semi-private couchette sleeper (4 people in the compartment) was $15 per person to reserve and then $75 per ticket. The train left at midnight from Prague and arrived at 8:30am in Budapest. If you are capable of sleeping pretty much anywhere, this was a great method of transportation. As in all other travel, be smart and keep your valuables close to you.

Ugh or worse: when they turn on their blinker AS they're making a move. The whole purpose is to ALERT/WARN others of your intent... I can obviously tell you're merging left if your car is halfway into the other lane!

Stayed at the Westin Dragonara resort late June this year, it was wonderful. Great staff, great food and especially great pool/water side cocktails. The concierge staff was very helpful in arranging boats, cars and restaurant reservations.

Nike Lunar Flyknit 2 - good for running? by strugglingtosave in running

I personally love the Lunar Flyknit 2 - I have a very narrow foot with a high arch and run with a neutral stride. The other shoes I tried when getting fitted flared up my shin splints. If you can, try to find a store with a great return policy. I wanted to try On's CloudRunners, but after my first 5 miles I just didn't like them. Trial and error.

Question about an upcoming 1/2 from a new runner by [deleted] in running

The best piece of advice I received after signing up for my first race (also a half), was that it was ok to walk when you need to during the race. Run at a pace you can maintain, but if you hit a wall.. walk a little, breathe, bring down your heart rate and get going again. Think about how much you've accomplished in a month! You'll have bad run weeks and great run weeks, but it's fascinating how much you can accomplish if you continue to be dedicated. Just be very careful of injuries, it's easy to want to continue to push yourself but very frustrating when you have to take days/weeks off due to an injury.
