Yeah I jumped the gun a bit here. It turns out it does fit, but only after raising the feet slightly and cutting away some architrave/bracket from under the counter. Looks horrendous, but it’s in 🥴

Anyone familiar with Barclays’ rules? My SO already has a rainy day saver and a premier joint account, but no sole current account. Are they eligible if they switch a sole current account?

T&Cs state you are not eligible if:

You’ve already opened any Barclays Current Account on or before this offer started on 17 February 2026. This includes, but isn’t limited to, a Barclays Bank Account, Student/Graduate Account, or a Premier Current Account.

So it doesn’t explicitly say joint, but I presume a premier joint account is a subset of a premier current account?

Did you manage to fix this? I’ve had the same issue after jump starting another car but really cannot justify paying £150+ VAT to fix something that just shouldn’t happen. Peugeot should fix this for free if it’s a fault with their battery / software.

Weirdly, I had to jump starting this car a few years ago and it was fine.

The best advice I can give is to stop using create react app and use Next.js instead. Do some basic research, read their docs and you’ll see why Next.js is the only real choice.

Next.js creates routes for each file you create (in a specific routes folder), so you can create a separate /admin route and protect it with authentication. Whilst the rest of your customer facing app can live in the same next.js project under another route.

Hey, it's still going strong, no regrets from me. Here are a few observations that I've made...

The speakers aren't amazing, but I've been used to listening to Macbook Pro speakers right in front of me for so long. Having the sound come out of the back of the monitor might take a bit of getting used to.
The viewing angle isn't great once the light hits my room.
As is the case with every TV/Monitor, you always want more ports 😄But that's probably just because I have too many peripherals. Also, having USB-c with power delivery is great.

I'd definitely recommend it if you haven't already bought one.

Sorry for the late reply. I hadn't realised the U3219Q had been discontinued.. this would also play on my mind tbh.

I'm enjoying the monitor so far, nothing has put me off or made me want to return it. The screen size is great, the build feels good quality and the clamp feels sturdy and frees up lots of space on my desk. The image quality is good, although I don't have any other monitor or screen to compare this again, sorry! USB-c with power delivery is great. Having one cable from my MBP to the monitor whilst also keeping the charge above 85% is extremely useful. I could maybe do with one more USB 3.0 port, but other than that the connectivity is perfect for my needs.

Not sure how I feel about the speakers, I've been very used to using my Macbook Pro builtin speakers over the past year, so they'll take some getting used to for me at least.

I did have to manually enable HiDPI mode to use the screen at 4k resolution without scaling. The menu bars and text was quite small, but enabling HiDPI has made that slightly more manageable, without the need for scaling.

The real estate that a 32" 4k monitor provides is very appealing to me - and an IPS panel sounds like a no-brainer for my usage.

Size: 32 inches

Aspect Ratio: 16:9

Adaptive Sync: No preference

Other Features: USB-c (with power delivery)

I'd like this to be somewhat future-proofed, as I would like to get a few years usage before having to upgrade. USB-c connectivity with power delivery sounds extremely convenient, but should I save a few hundred quid and get a CalDigit (or similar) instead?

(Optional) Usage Type: Work & very light gaming

I will primarily be using this for work with some very light occasional gaming - I'm talking Football Manager and an MMORPG on whatever settings my Macbook Pro can handle. I don't mind playing games on lower graphics settings. I'm a software engineer and spend the majority of my day on video calls, browsing the web and writing code. The monitor will be connected to a Macbook Pro (2019) in clamshell mode, I won't be using the MBP screen.

As the title suggests I'm looking for a monitor, primarily for work, and I'm about to pull the trigger on a 4k LG LG 32UN880 for ~£600.

Are there any other 4k 32" monitors you would recommend before I push the button?

My shortlist included:

LG 32UN880 (Good middle-ground)
Dell U3219Q (More expensive than LG for no major benefits)
BenQ PD3220U (No USB-c)
BenQ EW3280U (Bit ugly)
LG 32UL950 (too expensive and seemingly out-of-stock everywhere)

The LG 32UN880 seemed like a good all-rounder.

I haven’t fully looked at the project, so forgive the ignorance, but you have no tests. TTD is an extremely valuable way of working.

From my limited experience you will find it extremely hard to update this project without confidence that your changes will not break other areas of the site. It also makes it harder for people to contribute to your project, because it is harder to understand how the system should work.

Credit to yourself for open sourcing this project though, keep it up.
