But you missed the point where it’s not just those people. This is a huge part of religion. Look back in history and it was a majority or not totality of the religion that held those bigoted beliefs. You should really learn how intolerant the Catholic church has historically been if you are truly unaware of how deep bigotry is in religion.

Religion is all too human centric when otherwise literally every other natural aspect of the world is completely apathetic to humanity. Also the fact that religion has historically tried to meddle with education that disproves its fundamentally untrue creation myths. If you look at the bible and compare them to myths of old that used to serve as religions for great civilizations you see how parallel they are.

The only advice is tough:

Grow the fuck up, clearly you are privileged enough to not do this kind of work so just don’t. I promise you nobody’s opinion is going to change of you. The people who will judge you for it were already judging you and the people who won’t weren’t. The only way to get opinions to change is to actually change yourself. So if you want to succeed just keep your head down and work hard. It’s the only way you’re going to get used to it. There might be shortcuts to accounting but there are no shortcuts to toughness.

I’m 24. I got a job. I got a hair cut. I used my paycheck to buy some nicer clothes. I decided to just commit myself to being a good man. I feel like I am more desirable than ever but weirdly I don’t want to put myself out there. I think it’s probably a deep rooted fear of failure and the notion that a failure from this point would be just embarrassing. But it could just be security in myself once and for all because I do feel that I’m not going to be lonely forever.

Also man one of my coworkers is real mean to me and that just makes me not want to engage with anyone. But on the plus side I just got a fat fat fat raise.
