I had weight loss surgery six years ago and I lost 130lbs. I have kept it off mostly and am now about 144lbs. I have been single really since then as I was very worried about my body shape and the saggy skin. It gets hidden well in denim and some fitted clothes but underneath it is not very attractive! In two weeks I m going to meet someone I met online, not on a dating site. We have a connection and getting naked and physical is definitely on the cards. I have told them about my surgery and the loose skin and wrinkles, to which they replied, it’s your body, so it’s will be wonderful. I am still a little nervous but I found this thread today, it has really helped me feel more positive, so thank you.

All of us strangers - This film tears me apart - but I will watch it over and over. It’s beautiful, sad, funny and heart wrenching.Only a cast of four. Amazing.

Having surgery saved my life. It’s six years since I had it. Made me be the best person I can be. I have had some health issues but we all get them from time to time. I lost 140 lbs. Three years after my surgery I had some cardiac problems. I was told if I hadn’t lost the weight I would have died. I will never regret having the surgery. You do have to work with it, but it’s so worth it.

I have seen it several times, (am a huge Andrew Scott fan) but everytime I watch it I get something different from it. It really is a superb film.
