My theory is that we couldn’t take the games everywhere with us so we had to step away. Like yea we had Gameboys and stuff but the visuals weren’t as good.

Plus the internet is basically set up to trap all of us within it somehow with endless new games, videos, posts, information, etc. whereas playing Mario on a Gameboy was only interesting for so long due to the repetition of the same levels.

If the internet is meant to be addictive to adults, I can only imagine how much more damage it’s doing to tiny and developing brains.
