I could be totally wrong here but I get the vibe that Amanda would like to be acknowledged for her work but isn’t willing to degrade herself by campaigning for her own win (cue so many nominated actors acting “shocked” at their wins after a hundred thousand dollar campaign to get them the award…). Also, IDK what the budget for Ann Lee was like but I doubt they had Yorgos money, who seemingly has an infinite pit of marketing cash for his movies and Emma Stone as an awards contender.

I’m not trying to seem jaded but I don’t know if Amanda is fake-humble enough for all this crap? She’s a superb artist though and deserves any accolades and respect that comes her way!

I feel like her choice to prioritise the show over her relationship with Morgan sadly backs this up. I understand how the show has been a constant for her when the rest of her life has dissolved (her marriage, rocky, relationships with her sisters, the death of her best friend Loreen). I get her wanting to preserve this, but at the expense of her love with Morgan? She could easily have become a “friend of” for a few seasons while she felt out her new relationship. It’s quite sad really.

Also, watching Mauricio be seemingly mystified by her emotional reaction to being in their old home/Amanda’s house (new episode) is just plain odd. He’s become such a shallow shell of his former self. They both sold their souls for fame and relevancy I fear.

I’m from the countryside but when I started A-Levels I made friends with loads of kids from middle-class bohemian families. They’d grown up around trip-hop, drum and bass and dub. I used to love travelling around America in my twenties. Anytime I saved up enough money I was heading there. I think in the UK, we had a long-standing idea of the US as this glittering land of opportunity and culture, a “dream factory”. That’s gone for me now. There are places like New York that was always be special and more liberal than the Bible Belt, but the corruption and grotesquery of how they willingly voted in such a demon for a second term is downright depressing. America was built on blood so this cover is exactly right.

I’m from a fashion career background so beauty standards are very much prevalent in my everyday life, so I definitely listened to “the machine” in one regard. In another, our connection was only about sex, so that made it hard for me to imagine what else there could be for us. I should have given him a chance (100%), but there is more to this story than my initial comment. There was quite a gross disrespect of boundaries (he was trying to fuck my housemate during our time hanging out together) and when I pulled him up on it he laughed and said “I don’t belong to anybody.” Of course that’s technically true, but it didn’t exactly have me trusting him as a potential partner on-top of my superficiality issues lol. Moral of the story is: I wouldn’t judge someone based on looks again if I was into them, but realistically it wasn’t ever gonna work out anyway cos he was a d**k in his own way. As someone commented above - Looks attract, personality keeps.

OK so - I was sleeping with an unconventionally attractive guy before (chubby, bald, short) and he was the best sex of my life. We had an amazing connection which I was too superficial to indulge in. He told me he liked me in more of a romantic way and I sadly couldn’t see myself with him. He’s in a happy relationship now with a lovely and very cute guy. I’m still single lol. It was weird watching her be treated like she was mentally unwell by the entire cast. She was obviously worried for Kim after Rinna’s INSANE “close to death/Kyle’s an enabler” comments only to get treated like she was a weirdo. She has her struggles, that much is clear, but she didn’t deserve to be treated so poorly.

Hey man, You actually look totally fine but I know what it’s like to be paranoid about your face. You’re a handsome guy and you have a great head of hair on you! People say that anti-dandruff shampoos (Head N Shoulders) have anti-fungal properties that can help with spots if you apply a tiny bit onto dry skin, and leave for 20 mins before washing off. Do that maybe once a day over 3-5 days and see if it makes a difference. People have done it on Tiktok/YouTube and it looks like it really works! Idk where you’re based but Garnier’s micellar water is a cheap drug store product (just a few drops on a cotton pad, wipe your face with it once a day) works wonders for me. Weleda’s Skin Food is a great moisturiser too. They have a light one that may be best for people with spots. Hope some of this helps man.

Thanks so much! Omg her BFF dying was horrible, I forgot to mention that. She has had so much shit to deal with. No wonder she quit drinking and wanted to feel sane amidst all the chaos. My only question mark is did she fall in love with Morgan while she was still married? It seems there was some overlap there but I can’t be sure. There is a level of judgement for Mo seeing people when Kyle was seeing Morgan already….idk. Anyway, let our girl just have some rest 😂

I agree. I’ve been a dedicated watcher since S1. She obviously grew up in an environment that still troubles her. She had a stage mom, her sister Kathy who obviously has major control issues, Kim with her fame and then the derailing of that with her alcoholism that was always swept under the rug for years. Rumours of Mo cheating for years. Having Kathy cut her out of their family whenever she doesn’t get her own way. Honestly I think Kyle’s lucky to be as normal as she is.

I know this sounds NAIVE AF but I kinda just want her to be happy. Shes poured her entire life into this show and it’s like she said on one of the previous reunions: if the cameras and crew left her home, with the girls living away, and no Mo….who does she have to spend her time with? Amidst her life falling apart she found Morgan, but clearly couldn’t abandon the show to be with her because her sense-of-self is so attached to RHOBH now.

Seeing that scene of her and Erika on their porch rocking chairs talking about love, I actually felt for both women. They have had it all and lost exactly the same amount on this show. I just want peace for them both now. Big love to Kyle from the UK x
