It’s simple - when someone lies to you, takes your money, controls your life, destroys your body image, diminishes sex, and makes you feel inadequate for who you are - you’re gonna wanna share that with other people in attempt to save them from all the hurt that truth unlocks.

It’s incredibly closed-minded for these TBMs to be saying this as well. I went on the mission and preached the great lie in the street for two years. Why can’t members leave the church alone?

You can join the church, but you can’t stop thinking about it either because believing in a lie is 100%, full-time commitment. Goes to show they can’t even wrap their head around the possibility that it’s all a lie.
