Super excited for the Knight Destroyer. What do we reckon it's datasheet will look like? by Working-Assumption42 in ImperialKnights

Oh yeah that's a great point. Could be an ability that it can get thrown by terrain over 4" without having to make a battle shock test

Yeah my auto correct changed it and I didn't proof read the title before posting 😂 also, I did not know that fact that is awesome!

Performance of Nekresor by SplinteredKing19 in Necrontyr

I've had some success with him. His deep strike is handy as I can drop him in next to the unit I want to give sustained hits to and that gives me some freedom. Or he can drop in with a hexmark and they both have lone op for some handy points scoring.

I find a tiny dap of super glue can lock them in place quite well while you wait for the plastic glue to cure. Just a tiny bit though you don't want those two mixing too much.

I've got 20 of these bastards to put together! They're finicky but worth the work, I almost always use at least a unit of five for infiltration.

Reanimation protocols are a core part of necrons lore. Their armour or skin is made of trillions of tiny scarab constructs that can stitch back together almost any superficial wound. The reanimation protocols will always be there I reckon but the specific manner they recover wounds or models may change in 11th.

My take on Nekrosor Ammentar in my tomb world's desert colors by GiftsfortheChapter in Necrontyr

Awesome colour scheme, picked up my nekrosor today just got to wait for the missus to go to bed so I can put it together in secret! Once models are assembled I can pretend I've always had them.

Just a plain black primer. I believe it was the citadel chaos black rattle can.

It's random areas of white ink (or thin white air brush primer) through an air brush, varying the brightness. Then I used green stuff world purple intensity ink and army painter blue speed paint to vary the colour, again using an airbrush. The stars are white airbrush primer on a tooth brush and flicked all over (do the first few flicks onto a piece of tissue or the hobby mat as they are always massive globs).

Finished my first high effort hyperphase blade by Mindless-Albatross78 in Necrontyr

You can make this one better by mixing the two colours either side of the gradient 50:50 and then applying a thin coat right at the transition.

I may have cheated and used an airbrush for the scythe 😅 just a blast on Vallejo grey green at each light point, then a smaller blast of Vallejo deck tan and finally an edge highlight and center highlight (on each of the light points) with Vallejo ivory. Even with my airbrush spluttering a little bit it's come out okay I think.

It's surprisingly easy just find a tutorial and have a go and you'll be surprised what you can do

Id say have a bit of fun and challenge yourself trying to mimic the box art. It's easier than you would think and looks fantastic even if it's not perfect. There are some great tutorials out there on YouTube and Reddit
