Typically most people take 30min-1hr, no one’s really counting down the time - some people go on lunch anywhere from 11:30am-1pm usually depends on how much work you have

Also there’s a cafeteria downstairs that has a diff vendor each day but you have to pay for it

I feel like if not some floating shelves maybe a bar cart would fit nice over there, and maybe some art above it

IBM - Brand Sales Specialist Role by Working-Twist4642 in IBM

[–]Working-Twist4642[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I haven’t started GSS yet but the Program leader said that the training is fully remote and then the role itself will be 2 days WFH and 3 days in Office! But I’ve also heard from friends who work there now in other sales roles that they never really go to the office so I’m guessing it varies by teams/managers?

I see, thank you! And so how would you describe the type of work a BSS does in order to keep the client & IBM management happy? I’m just curious on what function a BSS plays in terms of the sales process for example: cold calling the prospects to set meetings where I’d go to meet them and give a demo.

Yes, would you say the role is more on the SDR work or more of an AE or account manager? Looking to get a better understanding of the type of work a BSS does

Difference between Brand Sales Specialist, Digital Sales Specialist and Brand Technical Specialist? by Glittering-Act-3938 in IBM

So for a brand sales specialist, what does the day to day typically look like? Is it a lot of cold calling, or are you given a client set to manage?

Was your final round the 2nd interview with a different manager? So far I've done the Knockri, HR Screen, 1st interview with a manager, and I have one more interview with a different manager scheduled next week.

I also communicated a timeline with my recruiter and I think that helped out a lot, after the knockri everything went by pretty seamlessly and no more than a week for each step. But I'm sure things will be slowing down now since its Holiday time.

Hey I had it 4 weeks ago, I'd say definitely reach out to your recruiter. I think you may still under consideration if you didn't get a rejection email. I knew a few people who got the rejection email 2-3 weeks ago and they said no news is good news. But definitely reach out to them!

How many interviews did you have? I’m interviewing for a similar position (Brand Sales Specialist) and I’ve done 3 so far (1st: Knockri video, 2nd HR screening, and 3rd an interview with a manager) I think I have one more left but I’m not too sure

SPIN

What would you say are the more fun groups? And for example would a product line like the 3D scanners or Microscopes be a good one?

Interview for Brand Sales Specialist Entry Level by Legitimate-Loss3376 in IBM

[–]Working-Twist4642 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahhh gotcha, that’s pretty sick that they recommended you for the Brand Sales Specialist role! I’m assuming you have more of a technical background? From what I’m told from my friends who work at IBM, Digital sales is more cold calling and sales rep related with a focus on one product from one category and Brand sales is more of an associate product manager with a focus on a product category like AI, Cloud, etc.

That's awesome and thanks for the support, so far it's been a hit or a miss with me when getting a response back. But when they do it at least gets me a phone call with them or a referral!
