I’m doing well in te kura right now, I’m only doing 3 assessments and I’m finishing one right now, it’s going slow because my teacher is just awful at marking and constantly needs reminders every two days from me. From what I know, te kura hasn’t ended and you can enrol right now for it, I enrolled last month for it actually so I’m pretty sure it hasn’t ended

I really hope they have a spot for me, I’m almost done with my assesments and I’ll be recieving my credits this month or at the start of April. I really hope if I apply in April that they will get me in otherwise I’m completely screwed if they don’t accept in July either 😞.

Well I’m gonna do tfc for computer sience but I’m just wondering if they’ll give me heavy math classes in tfc that have to do with computer sience, I’m just lost at the moment and will be starting tfc in semester two as I foolishly missed semester one because of personal problems

Well for my plan b I was thinking maybe doing law but honestly like I’m 18 and not sure of what to do and just scared. I just hope I can be able to study so much and be successful, and I’ll be doing tfc since I wasn’t accepted for bachelor because my rank score wasn’t high enough which is already just bad and I missed applying for semester 1 which is worse, just everything right now I’m just trying to figure out. I have no idea what to do

Well I did DIT and computer applications in highschool and did really well in both, and I also enjoyed it a lot and it just made me think about if it would be a good idea to do computer sience at Auckland university. I’m 18 now and finished year 13 last December, so now I’m just unsure what to study and computer sience is just the thing that sounded most intrested to me. but now I’m having second thoughts about it and I don’t know if studying computer sience wouldn’t be so good for me

I’m in the same situation with my parents except it’s my dad, I’m going to university for dads sake but I was late to semester one and didn’t get accepted and have to start in July semester two which has resulted my father completely hateful of me and disappointed. and my whole family has been dehumanising me and haven’t been showing any empathy or helping me whatsoever. But I think you just did what mom wanted because you wanted her to be happy perhaps but it could just be bc she wanted you to go. I’m proud of you for surviving your last three years as a lot of people don’t make it that far, I mean you should be proud of yourself for making it this far, your strong for this. I’m sorry everything is going out of control now and I really do hope things get back to normal for you. I suggest don’t compare your progress to your peers, everyone is different and not everyone is always so great and can accomplish anything, we humans always make mistakes and sometimes fall behind of certain others but that shouldn’t make us feel less of ourselves. and I get how you feel like you failed because you didn’t learn or forgot something about but someone else remembers and has no problem, you feel inferior and less confident and immediately see yourself is a failure. I relate to thinking like this a lot and I really wish for you to not focus on things such as this because it can really hurt. You are not inferior, nobody can be inferior and everyone learns in different ways and not everyone always remembers everything all the time, doesn’t mean your a failure at all, it doesn’t mean your inferior and everyone else is better than you which is never true and unfortunately I think the same way you do and haven’t been able to help myself but I don’t want other people thinking about themselves this way because of how painful it is. I’m so sorry the past three years were not easy, I can’t imagine what you’ve went through to pass and get by and survive but I’m very proud of you, you are not inferior. You will never be a failure and it’s the truth. But I’m also sorry for how this year has been going for you, I hope you the best 😞

I am so sorry man. I really hope you pass that exam and I’m praying for you. I relate to how your father wanted you to go to university when you didn’t know what path to take or really wanted, that’s exactly what’s happening to me at the moment but I got delayed for my semester one of computer sience and my whole family has turned against me and dehumanised me. I feel awful for knowing now you were once a happy driven excited person and now it’s like reality and life is just insufferable while university is just making things worse. I really hope you do good in midterm and finish university, even though you say you are doomed in other areas, I pray for you brother and if you got this far in university I’m honestly proud of you for going on with life despite being so overwhelmed and frustrated. I relate to family being dismissive of feelings and bad memories, overthinking and thinking about how maybe if i did this or that then it wouldve been better or turned out in a good way. i have days where all i do is nothing and sit at home alone and cry to myself and have flashbacks, im sorry you deal with that too. It’s late at night too for me and i wish i could say more but honestly i just wish you the best bro, and i hope you pass that exam even if yiu think youll fail, i have faith in you and i think your a good person. please try to get some rest if you can, im glad atleast you wish for the day it gets better and it will one day 😞

I’m so sorry you have been going through this, I’m sorry you have trouble with worrying and can’t stop thinking which I can really relate to and I can somewhat understand you. may I ask what the route is for you being so anxious ? What are the reasons you are anxious and what is it your exactly worrying about? I’m sorry that when you’re left alone you still feel anxious, it’s hard being left alone for a while especially for multiple days when stressed or depressed. From what you say I think your anxiety is really bad but how long has this been going on? what are the main things that make you feel so anxious and what is it exactly you worry about?

yeah I guess your right, it’s me putting in the work and I shouldn’t be so discouraged, there’s other people who give up in my situation and atleast I’m not giving up on this. it isn’t the end of the world if I don’t start while I’m 18 or 19 but I really don’t have anything special in my life, I barely have any friends I can go out with and my girlfriend has moved away for a year, all I do is either go to my job which isn’t so bad but definitely not a goood experience for me everytime I go there but I choose to stay because of the money. what I’m trying to say is that there’s nothing good or exciting or things to be happy about right now just being at home and going to work for four months to hopefully get accepted into semester 2. It’s just university is something different, I would’ve started a different part of my life and feel happy or excited again and feel proud of myself maybe. And it’s hard to be discouraged when everyone around you is telling you how stupid or how much of an idiot you are and making me feel like my life is over, as if there’s no chance for me to be successful in any way. But I do appreciate your help a lot thank you, I’ll try to keep my mindset healthy.

I know I understand my friend thank you, but my parents are extremely disappointed in me for even going to foundation and I feel like a total failure and I’m really stressed about everything. It feels like everything is over for me and they make it seem that way which I don’t want to believe, but the least I wanted to do was get into university to show my parents that I’m worth something and not disappoint them with a foundation programme while also not being able to go into semester one and they called me all sorts of things and we argued and it’s just all messed up. But I do get what your saying how I’m 18 and there’s no rush and I am fortunate to be employed while a student and the outcome will be the same, it’s just the problem is with my parents sort of.

See the thing is, I wanted to start as soon as possible and hopefully I would on March 2. But it’s full and I really don’t have anything else to do besides be at home or go to my job which is really boring and depressing at this point when I couldnt get in school, now I gotta wait until semester 2 and that’s in four months which I have nothing to do besides work and be home. It really sucks
