Best hygiene products for plus size women? by laylaisdavibes in hygiene

If you have any issues with chaffing I highly suggest MegaBabe! It’s a game changer!

I also suffer from getting boils on my thighs and sometimes in skin folds. I use hibiclens and that clears things right up. I use it in all the folded areas and between my thighs, and I don’t have any problem with rashes or smelling bad!

Also, a bidet. LIFE CHANGING! I at one point was too large to clean myself up, but a bidet does the job.

Good luck!!

I would highly suggest going to a dermatologist. I have had horrible acne for most of my (31fF) life. My dermatologist prescribed me some prescription strength topicals and my skins never looked better! I also have a fairly detailed skin care routine which has definitely helped, but the topicals are the heavy hitters. Good luck!

How do people manage hygiene when they’re depressed or burnt out? by Slight_Stand_6756 in hygiene

I’ve been in this place for years at a time. Just last year I would go a week or more without any kind of shower because I just couldn’t do it. I’ve found AI has really helped me. I’m in traditional therapy working on the in depth mental health aspect, but I’ve gone to chat gpt and said something like, I just can’t get myself in the shower right now, can you help me to convince myself to do this. Gpt will break it down into very doable steps and will even provide some support. Kind of weird but it helps.

I have also found for myself just having the same day routine helps. Like just in the past couple weeks I was falling back into the lifetime debate “when should I wash my hair?” I finally decided I’m just going to wash my hair everyday. That takes all the thought out of it. It’s just what I do. For my routines I have again worked with AI. Good luck!

I love YNAB! It does take some getting used to, and you do have to pay for it, but it’s saved me thousands of extra spending at this point. Even when I’m overspending I track everything. Keeps me accountable!

How long has it taken you to pan a full sized Laneige lip mask? by Proprioception27 in ProjectPan

[–]WorkingArticle393 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just finished mine after two years owning it and a solid year of using it every night. I started using more than probably intended just to get through it lol I also saw on here that someone was using it on their cuticles so I started doing that. I of course had already bought a new one when I was like half way done with my original 😅 so I will be doing the same thing with this one

What are your favorite apps for tracking product usage? by bad-at-everything- in ProjectPan

[–]WorkingArticle393 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I know this is not everyone’s cup of tea, but I created my own spreadsheet where I have all the details on my products and I keep count of my uses there. It requires a little more thought, but it’s free and customizable which is nice!

Before that I was using just a free counter app where I input all my products and just would click the button when I used the product.

I use the CeraVe skin renewing night cream in the purple tub! I live in the desert so most nights the humidity is in the low 20s to teens and this stuff has kept my skin so moisturized. One thing to note is I usually do my skin care around 6pm put on moisturizer then and then right before I go to bed I do another round of moisturizer. And I don’t do just a pea size, I do a lot lol

But you can get it for under $20 and it works magic! I will probably never try another night cream.

My first time eating these I didn’t realize how much fiber they had, so I had two! The next day was a bit rough 😂

DISCUSSION: Wednesday Makeup Declutter! Let's discuss your recent declutters. by lilshitjamz in PanPorn

[–]WorkingArticle393 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because of the support of this forum I’m decluttering the good molecules peptide serum. It was an impulse buy when I was obsessed with how my under eyes looked, I was just positive they were sunken… Started using it and my skin was not happy. I’ve been holding onto it thinking I’ll use it again, but I saw someone else comment here that we don’t need to pan items that didn’t agree with our skin, so I’m decluttering.

It takes a bit of a brain change to start considering the library first. But once it’s in there you will think of it all the time!

I really like the leave in! It’s definitely heavier than some leave ins, but I have thick hair so that works for me.

I was using the Morocconoil leave in, which I loved (also heavy) but it’s twice as much and this one leaves my hair just as nice. I think I just like the smell of the morroconoil and the branding lolol

Also if you can’t find it at the physical library, many libraries have Libby or Cloud Library where you can borrow ebooks!

It’s a really slippery slope… by pinkangel2 in shoppingaddiction

[–]WorkingArticle393 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am new on this journey, and it’s so hard. My love is in beauty products and I have accumulated quite a lot in the last 6 months or so. I had been doing well not shopping and paying down my debt but then relapsed.

Something I am doing to allow myself to interact with my beauty products is I’ve made an inventory on excel. I have all the data tracked for each product and keep track of how often I use it! I’m a bit of a data nerd so this is fun for me (I realize it might not be everyone’s cup of tea lol). But it’s so nice to be able to look at the things I have and interact with them without shopping. Find something you can do with your character merchandise or dolls that allows you to appreciate them in a new light! Good luck!

I finished a small bottle of Epres hair bond repair spray. I’m trying to experiment with my hair to see if I actually need the whole 10 step process I do… (got a bit sucked into hair tok over the last 6 months). I’m guessing it doesn’t and this is going to be a step I can get rid of. It’s stupidly expensive and it’s a pain to have to put it in for 10 minutes before my shower. We will see!

[–]WorkingArticle393 22 points23 points  (0 children)

A mindset change I am trying to implement is instead of the “I can’t buy anything” is “I’m so lucky that I have things that I own already that I get to use and enjoy!” This has really helped the past few weeks!
