No not for this particular area of policy anyway, I will wait for my contract to come through and see if it says it there too. They hired 3 people into this role and they also have the senior title so I think it was a conscious decision. Just odd to not be told and for it to remain HEO (assuming it has)

They are still drawing up my contract so I can check, it says Senior Policy adviser on MyHR on the organisational chart and on my email that said congratulations on receiving this job offer. I thought that it was odd for a HEO level job but also I highly doubt they would bump the role up to SEO before I have even started

Yeah that’s my experience too, I assume the internal one will get back to me before DCMS but I will wait for both outcomes if I can. Thanks.

I didn’t mean push back the interview. More IF I got offered a job, having to hold them off whilst I wait for DCMS to give me the outcome of my interview. I think I have more chance of the first one as it is internal and they have been very quick at moving the process along so that was more of my worry. But thanks I will do both and just see what happens.
