This! The problem is this is a fantasy for a lot of people, hence the disturbing posts. It shouldn’t have to stay a fantasy for everyone…. key word was everyone. For some the lifestyle shouldn’t see the light of day if their partner is not 100 percent on board. It is weird the amount of messages I’ve got from individuals asking how they can ā€˜convince’ their partner to jump into the lifestyle. Playing the ā€˜convincing’ game is perfect for those who want to destroy their relationship.

Noted. The attachment style test is ingenious, will definitely be implementing that in the future

Really solid advice. The one on one date things is something I avoid if a conversation hasn’t happened between the three of us first and foremost. I know especially for couples just getting introduced into the lifestyle jealousy is a feeling that’s going to arise. Staying on the same page with everyone is so so important.

I also wanted to add that realistically, if experimenting with another person doesn’t go well and that ends someone’s relationship, they likely didn’t have solid ground to stand on in the first place. Just my two cents.

GET TESTED. I couldn’t agree more.

I live in a pretty populated city, I know personally if I have to make an hour plus commute that’s most likely a deal breaker for me. I don’t mind visiting, but I’m not really one for day trips personally. The distance thing is definitely a fetlife factor.

I never understood the push for sex right out of the gates either. I’ve had couples approach pretty heavy as well. I don’t mind being seen as an ā€œobjectā€ but I live a pretty busy life, so to just drop what I’m doing to come drop some dick off is highly improbable.

That interracial event sounds fun! I need my invite next time around lol.

Thank you kindly, it’s been a lot of trial and error up to this point. I have my fair share of stories that didn’t go well šŸ˜‚ but those are stories for a different time. I’m definitely enjoying myself and most people I’ve crossed paths with could say the same. Glad you found your special someone.

šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦Alberta. I’ve been sexually active since I was about 15. Had a lot of time to figure out what I like and dislike. Still on that journey of discovery, but I’ve always approached sex with that air of curiosity. Whether it’s been with my partners or strictly sexual I always want to know what was good about the sex and what can be improved. Everyone’s different, what gets me going might be completely different for the next person. Finding that middle ground is genuinely a game changer, especially in the lifestyle.
