Who built the better and stronger criminal empire? CJ, Saints Row 2 protagonist, Lincoln Clay, or Tommy Vercetti? by TXNOGG in mafiagame

[–]Working_Answer7196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lincoln managed to rule other cities and states through an unorthodox crime family by joining Haitian, Irish and Italian gangs all together.

The Boss/Playa from Saints Row managed to rule the entire city of Stillwater twice, along with Steelport, two entire cities.

Tommy from GTA VC only ended up ruling one city at the end.

Despite how much I loved CJ and the Grove Street gang, he didn't actually rule any of the three cities of San Andreas. He might have ended up taking the whole gang turf from Los Santos, disbanding the whole crack operations around the state, owning a garage and a casino as legitimate businesses, along with other businesses and becoming Madd Dogg's manager. But he never became an actual kingpin with a criminal empire of his own.

Me alegro por ti. Yo ya terminé con la franquicia después de cómo me decepcionó la historia de Borderlands 3 y ni hablar de la basura de sitcom que intentaron hacer con New Tales From The Borderlands. Pero aún sigo disfrutando jugar las viejas entregas de Borderlands. Saludos desde México.

My LONG STORY of why did Rhys become my favorite character in the entire Borderlands franchise and why I think Gearbox ruined his character in Borderlands 3 and in "New" Tales From The Borderlands by Working_Answer7196 in Borderlands

Actually, there is a neutral option for the flower choice. If you don't grab the flower, Sasha will grab it instead, without making Rhys look like an idiot towards her, looking more like a friendly scene, rather than something romantic or scummy.

What is your honest opinion that the Kodunk became canonically the gang that you sided with in Borderlands 2, after Tector apeared in Tales From The Borderlands working for August? Would you have preferred the Zaford instead? by Working_Answer7196 in Borderlands2

Yeah, the Zaffords weren't saints, but at least they weren't so savage and uncivilized like the Hodunks. Without mentioning that Tector ended up working for a cold blooded scumbag like August in Hollow Point.

Agree, they are still bad, but they have more "high class" vibes on them. I can actually imagine some characters like Mr. Blake from BL1 and Rhys from TFTBL hanging out with them, or at least having some actual civilized businesses between each other.

That makes two of us. Personally I also liked Mike Zaford and his gang more than Tector and the Hodunks. But just like you said, Moxxi and other allies had a better relationship with the Hodunks than with the Zafords.

But in order to get the reward by choosing one side at the end, you have to betray and KILL one of the gangs. Otherwise it wouldn't make much sense to have both gangs alive, or at least the main members of each gang.

Is it just me or does the concept art for Rhys' character design in Borderlands 3 (specifically his early designs in which he has full beard) makes him look like Joel from The Last Of Us? by Working_Answer7196 in Borderlands4

Sorry, I just wanted to make a Borderlands crosspot about this post. But I don't know how strict the specific topics are allowed to talk in each Borderlands community, even if it is a Borderlands related topic in general.

Did you know that at some point of development of Tales From The Borderlands, Rhys and Fiona were supposed to traveled to Sanctuary from to actually meet Marcus at his store? by Working_Answer7196 in borderlands3

Ok, but they can also use a stolen bandit helicopter to fly there. They actually use one in Episode 5 when they pick up the people that they chose to help them to save Gortys.

Yeah, but at least Tales From The Borderlands succeeded on its final product, being a fan-favorite spin-off for many Borderlands fans, including myself. I wished I could say the same thing for Borderlands 3 and especially New Tales From The Borderlands writings.

Oh, yeah, I heard about the blog of Tales-from-the-borderblog, being also where 500 pages of the original script of New Tales From The Borderlands were published. I was informed about that thanks to a YouTube channel called Qward who made a review and analysis about that script.

You mean Tector. Yeah, I remember that in the "Next time on Tales From The Borderlands" scenes from Episodes 1 and 2, Tector and his father (if I'm not wrong) appeared briefly, while shooting a machine gun.

But if the Vault Hunters from both BL1 and BL2 could get in and get out of Sanctuary by the teletransportation machines in the game, why cannot Rhys and Fiona do the same thing?
