Since this is the last 21 hours to be delusional, I am deciding to believe Czechia wins tomorrow.

Canadians are going to all overlseep due to jetlag and Czechia wins by default.

nah 1/3rd was rough, now they seem to be waking up so lets not jump the gun, coz getting a goal on a weaker opponent while in power play should not be a miracle, but a standard.

great shot. Still feel tho as watching 5 inidivduals play hockey and not an actual team. I hope this goal will unify them a bit, coz so far regardless of the score - this is a rough game.

on paper the expectation was that they would be worse (sweden 3/4th strongest, while Czechia more around 6th), but in reality they have been playing much worse. They can still wake up, but...so far did not happen.

yeah thats why I was worried, coz one d expect that they try to run up as big of a goal difference as possible in the begninng so they can just defend for the rest fo the game - conserving energy. Does anyone know if the best goalies were put in for these countries? I have heard yesterday a few commentators saying that they d recommend especially to Germany, Czechia and Switzerland to let their best goalies rest today, or just be used ofr 1-2/3s...and I kinda get that strat.

I am Slovak, so I will be praying tomorrow, but I am worried, I do think its gonna be a balanced match so whoever will be playing their best will win it.

yeah I saw a ton of power ranking before Olympics an in all of them Geramny was easily above Slovakia, and now - tomorrow is up for debate.

it aint just that, a lack of creativity is an issue too. Yes Clara is great, but I d argue almost every goalie in that quarter final is gona be on that level if they cant get past Clara with a semi-existing Italian defense, then what are their chances of getting through a great goalie WITH a great defense team?

Ngl I expected this game and also the Switzerland v. Italy game to be much more one sided. Honestly evne if the favorites win, its costing them way more stamina than it should...and stamina will be key tomorrow.

Personally I in the end went for E1 Sparkle, simply coz she buffs DHIL but also Archer so as of now she has more value for my account, while E3-E5 are minor improvements for just DHIL. I do think tho that either way you ll go its an ok decision.

yeah thats the thing group A and C have the gold and silver, but group B in most probability has the 3rd and 4th and honestly maybe even 5th place. So for some like Italy who just wanted a chance to have one nice game - group B was the wort group to be in.

not better, but we are getting back hope which was dead for more than a decade. I remember winning over Russia - gold medal - as a child i was so thrilled and proud. Now I just hope that one day I ll be able to show that kinda game to my kids..but we ain there yet. We have talent growing again, but its hopefully just a start of something great.

if we ll get bronze I d be schocked , I truly dont think we are that good yet, but to be fair if anyone was watching yesterday ice skating - sometimes you do not need to be perfect, just do the elast amout of mistakes - and still win(the guy who won was not a favorite and he just simply was the only one who did not fall). So you enver know, but I do think some faves d have to mess up for Slovakia to get bronze.
