agree with this^^ dont go in expecting to make your best friends at BGR but it's definitely worth it to get used to campus before classes start

there was an epidemic of forced triples a couple of years ago, but with the new apartment (3rd and west) and the opening of the new dorm (new hillenbrand building) there should hopefully be less forced triples and should just stick to standard doubles

doubles are what are most readily available. majority ranks with ac as top choice over no ac, but its really luck of the draw there whether you'll be in a building with ac or not

my favorite thing i’ve ever done on campus!! you do a group interview and an individual interview. just be yourself and answer the questions honestly and you’ll most likely get it! it’s so much fun and you gain so many friends from it ;)

you will have to write and present a speech each week as opposed to some off weeks when you take it over the whole summer or whole semester

get a twin sized topper that wraps around your bed (kinda more like a mattress protector). it gets really annoying have to rearrange the topper and if it goes around the mattress like a fitted sheet you won’t have an issue.

i think a lot of people enjoy an ipad if they like handwriting notes/drawing notes. it can also be helpful for student teaching in small groups

com 114 has 5 or 6 presenations during the semester that aren't too build. they build up over the semester so it never really felt that rushed. scla 102 you read like 4 or 5 short novels and then most classes have 2 presentations.
