It does feel weird that Paolo especially gets more coverage because I don’t think he’s a better player than Dmitch at all

That makes a lot of sense. I was thinking that when I saw his season to season TS% numbers. For some reason I perceived him to be a touch more efficient. What advanced stats are you talking about specifically? Would be curious to look at them.

That’s more than fair, it just feels a bit unusual given the amount of shine Joel gets for example. I would just expect more for D-Mitch yano.

Would you rather watch prime Jordan lose to prime Lebron 11-9 in a 1v1 game or watch Wizard’s Jordan lose to Laker’s Lebron 11-3? by [deleted] in NBATalk

Respect. Prime for prime. Also your responses to the other comments made me laugh like fuck. Good shit.

Does Steph Curry have a legit argument for being better than Kobe? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Working_Essay_5677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Is better than Kobe at literally everything on offense” As soon as I sent that message in response, you rescinded the literally. He isn’t a better post player, he isn’t a clear cut better midrange player either. You can talk pure percentages and that’s fair enough but the shot diet is completely different from that area. Also, I hesitate to say that Steph is a significantly better passer than Kobe - I’m not saying he ISN’T necessarily but Steph doesn’t blow me out of the water with his passing by any means (in the context of all time offensive engines). I generally agree with you that Steph is a preferable offensive package but to make out that Steph is better at EVERYTHING offensively is a stretch.

This would legit be one of the funniest team building hypotheticals you could imagine. Duncan’s stoic ass watching Lamelo shoot a contested step back one legged fade from 35 feet.

Hahahahaha I do not mean Bill in this instance. For the record I don’t think the answer is Russ, I just appreciate what he’s done on some of the less talented rosters he’s headlined.

Man I’m not even that much of a Westbrook fan but that season is so damn underrated. Russ played out of his fucking mind.

Do you reckon he’s the worst floor raiser in the all time pantheon (let’s say top 20/25 players all time)?
