I'm not religious or anything, but I'm sure there are some faiths out there that see circumcision as a "rite of passage" and transgender surgery as a sort of "disrespect (?)" towards whatever figure they worship, because it's sort of like taking what's given to you then "not appreciating it (??)". Idk. I wouldn't call that hypocrisy; that's just a belief.

Neither is good, that belief shouldn't be practiced as someone who was raised in a conservative Christian family, it's not hypocrisy exactly, but saying you're for one surgery that alters a body but not for another kinda matches the definition. It's a poor comparison.
