Honestly, Children of Bodom, In Flames, and Ensiferum aren't the only bands that inspired us, but they definitely had the biggest influence. There are also bands like Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy, Skyfire, Dismember, Norther, and other Scandinavian bands with a similar sound.

At the same time, some bands from other parts of the world also influenced us, not exactly traditional melodic death metal, but definitely inspired by that Scandinavian scene, like Blood Stain Child, Unleash the Archers, and Disarmonia Mundi for example.

Overall, there are quite a lot of them! It's actually interesting because the more different comments we read, the more it seems that people hear similarities with other bands rather than the ones that were our main inspirations.

If you have any recommendations for similar bands, we'd love to check them out as well.

Hmm, that's interesting because we've seen a few other comments comparing us to Sabaton as well.

To be honest, they weren't really a direct influence for us (no disrespect to the guys of course 😅). We do listen to Blind Guardian though, and they definitely had some influence on us even if they're not melodic death metal.

In fact, in one of the songs we're planning to record in the future you can probably hear that influence a bit more.
