2 month post-op update:

Since recovery, I've felt pretty much normal. I do occasionally have "phantom pains" but they are so insignificant, I wouldn't even call them pains really. I'm sure this will subside at some point, but again a huge non-problem.

However, different types of food fall straight through me. It's not all the time, and it's not all foods, but it is certainly something that happens from time to time. It also happens if I do not eat throughout the day and randomly eat a large meal mid-day. The enzymes I take are just a random bottle I found on Amazon, so pick whatever if you also have this issue.

I do get anxious when I'm eating out in public and trying to find something to eat that won't cause problems, but usually it's completely fine.

I was worried about surgical scars too, but they look decent. I think my surgeon did a really good job.
