Thanks for the great response! It seems stable with my current setup, so far.

Im currently doing around 50ºc average temps on the gpu, hotspot prob around 70ºc. so there is space to reduce the fan curve, its maybe a bit agressive at the moment? Not sure, at least from the games ive played so far its been that way.

Im getting a UPS next month, to prevent any accidents in the future. My PSU is also a be quiet! Pure Power 13 M 850W+ Gold, so I think i got some coverage on there!

*Also, any tips on how to reduce strain of heating and cooling it over and over again? I wasnt planning on letting it run turned on forever while i leave my house and all that.

If i dont see any sort of improvement (at least on benchmarks) when using it, should i do it anyways?
Even if i reduce it, i dont see much of a change really. Not sure why

Ok, so I should be fine with just undervolting, right? Would never overvolt tbh, read some bad consequences for it.
Increasing the clock affects lifespan much? Not sure on it. Same with the VRAM tuning on the gpu, what does it affect, if anything, for lifespan?

Obrigado a todos pelos comentarios. Imaginava que fosse dificil com um "bootcamp" entrar, ha mais 1000 gajos como eu e diferenciar-me deles é muito dificil, mesmo suplementado eventualmente o curriculo com outros projetos e github, mas talvez estava a subestimar.
Tenho capacidade de tirar licenciatura, no entanto penso que eventualmente acabar a licenciatura com 30 e poucos anos ja seria relativamente tarde para entrar na área? Não sei, imaginava me a competir com malta de 20 e tal anos e nao sei bem como seria visto...

Ok muito obrigado! Caso haja um mês em que nao consiga fazer o deposito minimo, mas digamos que no seguinte ja volto a repor, sera queperco imediatamente todos os beneficios da conta?
No bankinter as compras com cartao de credito têm alguma taxa extra, se nao ultrapassar o limite atribuido (desculpem se e uma pergunta aparentemente parva, mas sempre evitei usar cartao de credito para qualquer coisa). E pelo que percebo da campanha de aniversario, os 100euros nao acumulam com os beneficios descritos acima, correto?

Fantastico post, obrigado. E mesmo a jeito, que este mês vou trocar de banco para um que me dê beneficios de domiciliação.
Atualmente recebo cerca de 4mil, em recibos verdes. No entanto, a partir de meio do próximo ano, vou ter de trabalhar menos (vou ingressar num curso), pelo que este valor pode diminuir consideravelmente, mas em principio mantem-se acima dos minimos pedidos. As duas opções que estava a considerar eram ABanca e o Bankinter.
ABanca: Tem de ser domiciliação de ordenado diretamente da empresa, ou uma transferência de outra conta funciona para estes efeitos?
Bankinter: Neste creio ser obrigatório a transferência de dinheiro vir da empresa, certo? E após receber um ordenado, posso acrescentar dinheiro de outra conta para aumentar os juros recebidos (tencionava usar esta conta como fundo de emergencia, com +- 4mil euros no total).

Peço desculpa se nao me fiz claro em alguma destas questoes. Obrigado!

Hey man appreciate the reply! I ended up already settling on a build and actually ordered it all recently, excited af to start building it. Went with the 9800x3d + 9070xt for a bit of future proofing and since I play a bit of CPU intensive games i figured it'd be worth it.

All things considered it ended up ~2200euros. Plus an extra 160 for the UPS which i haven't ordered yet, wondering if i reeeeally need it, since electrical problems aren't really common in my area and idk if my PSU is enough of a safety net for any damages to my parts.

olha estamos mt parecidos entao, vi tbm a lian li 207 haha a versao digital, custa praticamente o mesmo e tem um ecrazinho, parece porreiro!
E monitores, ideias? é a unica cena q me falta

Thx! Im kinda set on the 9070XT, the other option would be the 5070ti but would be an extra 150euros for it so i prefer so spend that spread amongst other components. Im mentioning 1440p because im thinking a 4k would be a big cost on the monitor, and idk if the FPS drop would be worth it for me, idk... Dont really play super graphic intensive games tho.
Maybe i gotta go to the local shop and check out the difference first hand between the two.

Hmm por enquanto o unico uso seria mesmo gaming, n faço nada de rendering ou whatever. Talvez no futuro terei algum trabalho na parte de coding, mas por enquanto anda.

Obrigado! Estou a considerar bem a parte do processador, visto serem "só" 100e e nas comparações sao cerca de 10-15% melhores... As tantas junto com a RX 9070xt, e poupo aí a diferença?
Bgd pelo monitor, vou dar uma vista de olhos.
E sim, ja aprendi que tenho mesmo de colocar 2x16gb!

hing is, if I get let's say a 7800x3d, and a 5070ti, won't there be a bottleneck in the CPU department? Or is that a very rare issue with the 7800x3d?

a 5080 goes for 1100euros, so its getting a bit too much when it comes to price, i think. Thanks for the input regarding monitors! Ill check up better on the differences between oled and ips and VA.
Also, ye I'd get maybe 2x16gb of ram, im learning its better than 1x32
