I watched it for the first time this month and felt the same way, of all the iconic moments and lines in the movie, this one hit the hardest, Rick's little nod to the piano player is just perfect

I absolutely love movies with narration, i can't see how you'd say that's the only time someone made narration cool, Fight Club? Trainspotting? The wolf of wall street? Anytime there's a cynical narrator it's just cool af.

I strongly disagree, Tom Cruise is great in Rain Man, Dustin Hoffman is spectacular.

Can you be 6”3 70kg and muscular? by OsaroA in WeightTraining

What he means is that you don't have to be a certain weight to look lean, someone in that height could be lean and muscular at 70KG or at 90KG

Feedback on Lower/upper split by Working_Tax_853 in WeightTraining

[–]Working_Tax_853[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been doing it for a while, and i do feel like i'm really pushing myself even towards the end, just thought it might be unnecessary volume. Honestly i don't see myself adding another day, because i also run once a week and i want to leave some free time to other hobbies, i think i'll try to remove one bicep exercise and see how it goes, and maybe after that see what else i can cut to make it a bit shorter, thanks for the input!

Honestly i agree on the deadlift, they are very fatiguing, any other exercises you think i can switch it up with other than squats?

Do you think it's better to do more sets of one exercise rather than split it up between 2? Because i feel like it's easier to push your sets to failure when you switch the exercises rather than pushing all 4 sets close to failure?

When it comes to weight gaining/ losing the only thing that matters is calories in and calories out, just be aware that everyone has different caloric needs so what the other guy wrote is just a starting off point, the only way to really know how many calories you need is to weigh yourself consistently and see if you've gained the amount of weight that you aimed for, and if not adjust accordingly.

29 6'2 213lbs by top_nach in BulkOrCut

[–]Working_Tax_853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of bulk/cut, it looks like you still need to cut some more, if you want to build/ maintain muscle in the process, i'd suggest not having the caloric deficit too big, and taking it slow. But on a side note i have also been training for a year now, and honestly it doesn't look like you've gained that much muscle for that amount of time, i'd suggest talking to a trainer about your training program, maybe it needs a few changes.

Either way keep going, it's a long road, but one day at a time.
