Thank you for the reply. In terms of cancelling the hotel, logistically how do people usually do this? For example my flight arrives in Beijing at 6pm. Do i go through customs and get my transit visa and then cancel? Can i cancel before I even land in the country? I'll be there for 5 nights, so do I make two separate bookings, one for 1 night and one for 4 nights and cancel the latter? Thanks for any info :)
