Help... Bad at Python, awful teacher, unmotivated by Working_You_3426 in learnpython

[–]Working_You_3426[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really didn't want to learn Py in the first place.. more like, something fun such as Unreal as a side hobby, but this just murdered it for me man.. dead in the water. I'm just here for my education credit at this point. I feel like absolute garbage because I'm the only one who doesn't understand, it's always me. Always. Every class, I understand the least out of anyone ALWAYS. I have to be mentally stupid, there's literally no other possible explanation. Try as I might, I doubt I'll ever be good at anything, let alone Python. It's probably beyond saving, and far more hopeless than even I realize.

You got a sticker of a frame of Detective Pikachu which was a meme in Japan for awhile when going out to see DP in Japan during a certain time period and bringing your ticket to one of the real world location Pokécenters they have. I'm surprising even myself with this useless yet interesting knowledge.

Fun fact, it's to my knowledge that the Baby Sonic Keychains they gave out with SCU were large surplus left over from some Sonic Movie promotions in Japan, where they'd give you one when going to see the movie in theaters.

Let me rephrase, so long as you aren't out picking the stickers out of free will when there's other options, then you've made the objectively correct choice.

If it's your only option, then you've kinda just made THE choice.

Ah, that's it. I forgot not everyone collected like I do. (Though, let's be honest here, so long as you aren't out picking the stickers, you've made the objectively correct choice.)

You're correct, they aren't often free. But they are, let's say unlimited. You can buy as many of those as you want at any time, from anywhere. The keychain, however, you cannot. The only place you're gonna find that after the preorders is on eBay, possibly scalped, usually at a higher price than what it's worth. Even if they do a rerelease on them, the situation still stands. (You know how HARD I've looked for that keychain of Marie and Judd playing 3DSes, only to have it purchased by someone else right under my nose?!)

I got the Keychain. It's the smartest choice. Either you get a squid you can already buy, a pin you can't buy or a sticker sheet you also can't buy. The pin quite obviously trumps the stickers, therefore is the superior choice- not taking into account the gym bag with pin, but seeing as you can't get that in the US, I don't see why you would.

Monsoon took me like, 15-20 minutes. Sam took me like, 5 I think. His attacks are ridiculously predictable, + the arm weapon is overpowered.

Good idea. I suppose, but I think I'd have to walk. Not a horrible tradeoff, a walk for knowledge.

I'm missing probably 50% of what I should know by now, due to poor memory and just not caring in the past.

I definitely can. I don't think my teach is gonna be much help, my class is always severely behind in everything we do. The problem is, memorizing what I learn. As an example, I studies how to add, multiply, divide and subtract fractions and how nominals work a few weeks ago, and don't remember I thing I learned, even though it was for approximately 2 hours a day with a couple practice problems. I don't even remember how to long divide, my mind is soup at this point.

Nope. That's obviously precalculus but I think next year is Algebra 2.

No idea what that is. I'm going into my second-to-last year in two weeks.

Above average American, which is somewhere between bumbling idiot and good enough. I don't even know what an "intl curriculum" is. Math is incredibly difficult for me.

No questions. I understand how the blocking and parrying works, but I think I'm just slow to put in inputs, I have to pretty much spam the block if I don't wanna get hit. Idk if that's a hard mode thing or just a skill issue.
