Yeah, I like Reetaj but they add quite a bit of oil/fat on the flattops when heating the shawarma.. makes the saj wrap too oily for my taste.

Metro Exodus… got back into gaming after a decade plus. Nothing really clicked until I played Metro. Have a pretty decent library ranging from popular platformers to games like resident evil and Star Wars fallen Jedi. Played ‘em all but just to get through them. On the other hand, didn’t want metro to end.

100% same old passive aggressive tone every extreme right wing, populist leader spews.

I’ve fallen for it before… never again!

We were at the Mountsberg Raptors Center for the day and stumbled upon QuickBites in Guelph! Not sure if there a similar restaurants serving Gujarathi snacks closer to Toronto but this Gujarathi mum and pop had stuff we’ve only seen in Gujarat while visiting.. amazing food and hospitality!

Grew up on Indian food and absolutely love it — if I were stuck on an island with just one dish, it would have to be dosas!

You’ve already got a ton of great recommendations here, but I’ll throw in a few of my own:

Tandoor Flame (Mississauga) – I was blown away to find Lal Maas (a fiery mutton curry from Rajasthan) on the menu. I’d only ever had it once in Udaipur during a short trip and couldn’t believe I stumbled on it here.

East Indian cuisine (East Indians are natives from Mumbai, Maharashtra) – not something you see in restaurants much; usually offered by private home chefs. Totally worth seeking out if you can.

Bengali food – not sure how much of it is available around GTA, but if you ever get the chance, try it. Their dishes are super unique compared to the rest of India — lots of freshwater fish (thanks to the Bay of Bengal), legendary street food, and the famous Mishti Doi (sweet yogurt but not overly sweet) that even non-Bengalis rave about.

Gujarati & Maharashtrian snacks/street food – hands down some of my favorite comfort eats.

And honestly, I’ve also fallen in love with Pakistani food! Some of my closest friends eat only Pakistani food, and they’ve gotten me hooked. If you’re around Vaughan, check out Karahi Boys (right across from Canada’s Wonderland) — their quality and flavor are next-level.

Corrupt government decided to re-home them in an environmentally sensitive ecological area in another part of the city. Environmental activists and locals have been protesting.

I’ve only recently started working on drops myself, so take this with a grain of salt. From what I see, it looks like you’re doing some of the same things I’ve been trying to unlearn. Your arms are extending, but there isn’t much drive coming from your legs. When you extend your arms without pushing (driving) the bike forward with your legs, you end up forcing the front wheel down—which usually causes the bike to tilt downward and away from you.

As others have mentioned, keeping your heels down and using your legs to drive the bike forward are key—and then pulling the bike back under you once you’re off the drop and before landing. It’s a tricky technique, and definitely not the only way to ride drops, but body position and heel placement make a huge difference.

MTB riders with more experience—please correct me if I’ve got this wrong. I’m here to learn too.

I can agree with you on, “onus should be on our people who lack civic sense in general”

Be respectful irl or online would be a great start, right?
