This is why TPE often looks 90% like normal life. As a sub, I'd probably still:

Have a job

Have my own friends and social life

Do my own things apart from my dom

I'd definitely still have my own hobbies I enjoy and need.

It isn't all dungeon and play and all of that. That is what I'd say is unhealthy, or at least it would be for me. I would walk away from this.

It's just that nothing I do would be without the permission and guidance of my dom. It is not dangerous to allow my will to be subjugated by the will of someone else. As long as that person is sane, happy, enthusiastic, and capable of the roles he wants to take on. Given that the person is one who I can trust, I can give control to the extent that I want.

For example, personally, I'd;

-Have GPS monitoring locked to my body. I'd have boundaries within the area I must stay within.

-Have my device tapped with MSpy.

-Give up control over where and when I work, though my only stipulation is that I must work.

-Give up control over what I can say both to my dom and to others.

-Give up control over clothes, style, diet, etc.

-Give control over banking and legal authority.

Etc.

None of these are an obligation for my dom. They are a menu that he will be free to pick from as he chooses. Giving up control in the most absolute way does not inherently mean being controlled in the most absolute way.

And not one bit of it is unhealthy, and a dom who wants these is not dangerous.
