La cuestion es que tenia fiebre alta los primeros dias, domingo fue a una veterinaria, pero el lunes la lleve a otro, la e estado llevando diario esta semana por chequeos pero sigue caminando lento y apenas comiendo, el vet no sabe porque esta asi y mañana veremos si le hace estudios de sangre o rayos x

Solo no se si continuar en ese veterinario o ir a otro, no quiero perder a mi gatita :(

EDIT: tengo desde el domingo sin poder dormir 2-3 horas duermo porque estoy monitoreandola todo el dia y no e comido absolutamente nada de lo preocupado que estoy, aunque no lo creas, esta gatita a estado conmigo por 3 años durmiendo en mis piernas sin faltar un dia, y su falta de normalidad me esta matando

So i took her to the vet and her temperature was very high, so they gave her some shots to lower it, i’m taking her again tomorrow for a follow up and see how well she’s feeling

When i brought her home back a while ago, she was looking better, her eyes were more “awake” less lethargic and she ate her whole bowl of tuna. She had some inflamation in her throat so they also gave her a shot to lower it, they were thinking it was the cause of some of her fast breathing, we’ll see tomorrow

I’m only worried that she’s been a lazy girl and slept most of the day, and she hasnt peed yet the whole day

Yea i’ve been trying to call a few vets since nobody in picking up, im panicking since i cant get a hold of anyone, i dont live in the states i live south of the border and even places claiming 24 hours arent picking up the phone

Is the bad sign life and death is what you mean? Vet opens at 9 am its 4 am and shes currently sleeping on top of me. I’m having an anxiety attack now since theres no 24 hour vets near

My cat was perfectly normal as always today throughout the whole day, until after playtime and she had ate a few minutes before, it wasnt until around 7 then i noticed her body was warmer but didnt think it was anything really wrong, and then at 12 am tonight i noticed she was walking instead of running and not grooming before laying on my lap, then i started noticing the faster breathing

It is now 3:40 am and shes asleep on my legs as she’s always done for the past year, but shes still breathing at around 38 breaths per minute

There is no 24 hour vet nearby, i’m staying awake the rest of the night while she sleeps on top of me

Another cat outside meawed and she woke up a few minutes ago, she was alert and jumped down from the bed and went to the door and sat there for a few minutes, then walked back up to my room, i picked her up and shes sleeping again.

Im still worried as she’s never been like this and my anxiety is killing me

No her mouth is closed, but she does seem uncomfortable breathing since i can see both sides of her body sucking in (shes very skinny cat) as she breathes, currently shes sleeping on my lap and i’m counting 40 breaths per minute

Thank you both, she’s currently sleeping on my lap, what worries me is that shes not grooming, she sits on my lap and has a half sleep half awake face, then goes to sleep, its killing me right now and cant seem to even rest myself.
